Monitoring the situation in Iran

This made me think that we're all just ants in this, only being able to choose the "leader" ants we want to follow.

Most of the time, we can only hope for the best...

I never understood why US had such a beef with Iran of all places, but if you consider Israel is its sworn enemy, and American politicians overwhelmingly treat Israel as a promised land in your childish understanding of Christian religion - congrats , you just plunged another region into total mess because old fucks you elect are high on Messianism cool aid.

Begin here. Continue with this brief interlude. Then take your time thoroughly exploring this article.

Imagine if we instead spent that on child care assistance for working families. Or job training for our out of work and undereducated citizens. Or financial assistance for our farmers and manufacturers who are on the verge of bankruptcy. Or another James Webb Space Telescope. Or treatment and health care for our wounded and PTSD-stricken veterans from our previous silly wars.

You'll find that amount of money doesn't go that far.

Plus, the US gets to enjoy its wealth partly because of its military might.

You should probably try educating yourself before commenting on things you admit you don't understand.

Bro has to run just so he can catch up with his tomahawk brother.

SHIT! I remember seeing these being tested, some time ago... that air bubble is what lifts the ship so high. Kinetic energy being transfered?
Just like boxers and ball players as an example. Getting your legs like tree trunks to produce more kinetic energy behind the punch or fastball. 💪

For the torpedo, looking at the upward movement of that ship, that sent crew flying upward. Would not be shocked if some of them died from broken necks or knocked unconscious because it looks violent from a distance and that's nothing like being there.

The energy sent through that ship would shatter entire skeletal bodies, my brother.

I think it depends how close you are to the blast, but I agree even in the best case its probably breaking something. Crazy part is there's probably video footage of it inside.

True, but the closer they are to that epicenter, the more damage to materials/flesh/bone. The Ships sturdy material was torn apart like paper. That's how powerful that tiny bubble's release is.

Oh yeah, crew close to that were vaporized and even beyond that I'd say were shattered to the core. Actually horrible to think about. But I wouldn't be shocked though if some people in lucky spots survived the blast and drowned later/eaten by sharks. Indian ocean has plenty.

Actually being in the Navy people think is some step back from "combat" but god damn if they don't have some of the most horrific ways of dying.

The Luck of circumstance!

The blast sent half that ship flying upward! WTF is inside of those puppies?!
MK48 heavyweight, it is designed to explode below the keel of the ship to force the ship to kick upwards and break apart. Old WW2 style torpedoes would just put a hole in the ship and hope that it sank it.
