Its about principle and aesthitics, as well as game devs having a spine and not caving to Anita and the sjw resetera crew. Bashing long time fans that made them what they are is never cool.
As far as sexy, I am not asking for much, just constancy with the rest of the series. This game was known to be edgy and shock back in the 90s. Now they give in mob of weirdos and become pc, it's the opposite of what this game stood for. I also prefer attractive people in games (notice the guys didn't get nerfed. Where is the dad bod lui Kang?) It would be like a reboot of Conan the barbarian where they replace red Sonia with a pant suit Hillary Clinton or someone like that. Total cringe and not digging it. Nothing to do with need, just a want. I love sexy art. They don't need f cups but man do the faces need to look pleasing at least.

Is there likely to be a second one covering the rest of the cast, or are there already costumes that are very close? I feel like I saw a Scorpion one even before release.
On a slightly different note, I get that they're supporting the continued existence of the game with new content, but I can't buy a game like this without a complete edition. And when the ultimate edition isn't complete, you just out me off further.

On one hand, what's wrong with a fighting game focusing on the fighting and not being tna from a cheap / regressive 1980s–1990s sexists bro's out B movie. Time to get over it. It's not like they don't have attractive women, they're just not in swimsuits anymore.
On the other hand it's Mortal Kombat for crying out loud. It's always been a B movie. If I were a die hard fan I would be disappointed maybe frustrated that they removed some of the tna. The hyper sexuality and violence is part of the entire point of the series. It's a fantasy game. People can ogle shirtless men in the game so why not women?
If you look at the series Sonya in the first game wore a pretty athletic outfit and the bikini ninjas started in MKII and hit maximum bikini somewhere in the 2000s. I remember you playing MK9 a decade ago and thinking polygonal boob flop has gotten pretty far from Kitana and Milena wearing 1-piece swim suits with tamped down boobs.
