My favourite bit in the manga was when the manga talk was kept in the manga thread. So good.

Probably one of the best protagonist progression in a shounen.
I hope so. I'll stick with it for awhile longer
The anime won't cover his entire character development obviously,but you'll definitely see why fans tend to call him "Deku the Madman"

Just started watching this - not a manga reader. Pretty good. I agree dude is crying a BIT too much but I mean it's only 4 eps in and I know how shounen's go. It's funny and entertaining....seems to have some heart too. Interesting in seeing more.

Ah one of those days I wish I'd pursued voice acting. I'd have loved to voice All Might.
Look at his mom, now look at me, now look at the crying pile of tears on the floor. It's his mom hugging her crying kid because he's quirkless and being super quick to cry. It feels real cut and dry with hereditary and just how she raised him.
Justin Briner is also the voice of Cloud in TeamFourStar's Final Fantasy VII Abridged (and he'll be playing Teen Gohan when they get to Buu). Cool that he got the lead role.
Of course Sabat had to be in there somewhere.

KAMINARI had speaking lines and he sounded so perfect, and then Kirishima (he got second in the exam, wow). I loved this episode so much. Getting to see these two was what Ive been waiting for, for so long. IT was paced really well. I just wished they actually showed Kaminari quirk. Todoroki could have looked better as well.

I love how All Might also says Midoriya is so cool. Shame Midoriya didn't hear it.
Another great episode, and this remains my standout of a pretty solid season. One problem though is wtf at these testing methods. You have no potential because your quirk can't help in these 8 ways enough? Seems a little silly to me, especially when one person has zero grav and a test is how far you can throw a ball. Just seems rigged is all I'm saying.

I wish the anime would treat bakugou better. Hes a great character but i feel its making him seem a bit mean. Though at least Midoriya still likes him.

This is the chapter where I dropped the manga but I think they still left a few pages of it unadapted. Any long running manga adaptation will usually need time to get into the gist of things but the slow ass pacing is adding to that in spades. Expected to be here at ep 03.
Eraserhead seems like a completely broken character if his Quirk has no limitations. And what's up with his bandages ? Does he have two abilities ? (Don't actually answer that if your knowledge stems from manga)
Uh, Bakugou is an UTTER shitter and absolutely deserves any shit that is ever flung at him.

I only just realised the obvious parallels. lol.
It's the highest stakes high school course in Japan and the threat was for getting #rekt in all 8 tests, not just 1 or 2 of them. The point Eraserhead was trying to make I think was something more along the lines of "If you can't figure out how to make your quirk versetile enough to help with all this shit, then you're clearly not creative enough."
(How did invisigirl use her powers for this though?)
