The opening I'll agree with (full version is especially bad) but the ending? Are you insane? It's the best! I have doubts the new one will take it down.
It was ok first few times, now its just annoying. First one with the notebook is the better song
Could have been Invisigal or something, I think it would have been better to be honest. Invisible Girl is kind of boring.
Xenopink for Ashido, whenever I hear Pinky I think of Pinky and the Brain.
Also Mineta should have chosen the Grapist.

I've been watching the first season of this anime and ilterally everything they reference that we JUST SAW is accompanied by a speech and a flashback of the scene they reference. Even when it was at the beginning of the episode. Is there a name for this? I find it incredibly annoying and frankly, I don't know if I'll watch the second season...
Yep, very versatile and strong. Even back in the first season when the villains attacked Jiro tried to goad the villain by mentioning how he was was wasting a great quirk by being a simple street thug.
Plus, he makes for a great living stun grenade, excellent for taking care of multiple villains without killing them. Can charge phones in a pinch, too.
I believe the name for it is "saving money by recycling animation".
The second season is much better about this (first episode aside)
Besides the first episode, the second season thankfully does that way less.

S2 OP 1 is God tier.
Boku no Hero is so light on this compared to every other shonen anime. S2 has a moment in which all of those flashbacks are overlapping with each other in quick succession. Usually they'd just be spread out as evenly as possible.
IIRC it was outsourced like episode 6.
"God tier"? I mean, it's a pretty good opening that fits well with the sports festival arc, but all in all it's very standard as far as shounen anime openings go, nothing particularly special about it IMO.

Then again, i'm against the concept of "cute girls doing cute thing" EDs in a shonen because it comes across as patronizing but i'm a weirdo so

I don't think it's on the already released OST from the first season, they might (hopefully) release another one.
but yeah i can't wait to hear the full track. The music in this show is just so damn good.
The last time i was this impressed with an anime OST was with Naruto Shippuden.
