Im not going to lie she looks like she stank in that picture. Like one of them female characters from old sitcom tv shows that everyone thought was ugly and run away from in the show while still being nice. The female version of screech and steve urkle.

It's not overdone. Zooming in over 500% to show something NO ONE would even notice either in game or on a pause screen from their couch is overdoing it.

Who gives a fuck about an artist’s personal sketch though. It never warranted this amount of attention in the first place. Now I really to see the orges some of you have bore children with. And I know they’re out there especially from some of the non-US folks.

It's not ""needed"", it's just shared between industry friends, that art director at ND is literally a Korean man. The fact that you asked this and proceeded to think that it's something to be concerned about says a lot.

I believe they are trolling with this image and it’s working. They think leaning into it and causing controversy will benefit them. The best thing that can happen is everyone ignores everything they do from this point on and the studio collapses. Then we all move on while laughing at their hubris.

Yeah, his second art of her face is better - gives this whole 'old Chinese painting' style and I appreciate it a lot more.

Still horrendous compared to the original, but at least it's more feminine and doesn't make you want to scratch your eyes out.

She was 38-39yo in 2003, still better looking than probably 80% of women(not 80% of 18 to 25yo women tho :p ), but come on, women are at their peak in late teens/early 20s unless they are fat/have some nasty illness at that time and get rid of it later :)
38yo Monica Belucci had clear signs of aging on her face, and her body got worse too vs her late teenage/early or even late 20s, female beauty is about youth and being most fertile, whole beauty industry depends on turning the clock back for modern women who cant accept reality and trying so hard to wrestle father Chronos in a battle that is lost from the get go ;)
