I don't think so. Keep in mind not everyone has a PS4 so not everyone that's a fan of the series played Bloodborne. Also the increase in speed to Dark Souls following BB, combined with the build and environment variety the series is known for (both lacking in BB) will be nice to have following that game. Best of both worlds hopefully.

Yeah, from the network test it seems like DS3 plays and feels like Bloodborne, but with Dark Souls elements like magic and shields.

The game is going to be amazing. The sword arts is the only thing I'm unsure about as it looks to be completely useless and a waste of MP.

Pretty surprised with all the PlayStation exclusives, the top 10 kind of reflect what I'm anticipating.

Also, congrats Shinobi. That's a lot of work and it's well done.

Well, I'm going to take solace in the fact that Battleborn is at least the most-anticipated MOBA-like.

(A reminder that Overwatch is a team-shooter like Team Fortress 2. They're two totally different styles of games)

Now if only Persona 5 sold what a Top 2 most anticipated game of the year would.....

It's a pretty solid top, with some of my choices being present. I still think that either Horizon or TLG will slide out of the year but they are still hype.

Wasn't expecting to see FFXV given how trendy it is to hate on it lol

I think Persona 5 will do fine for an exklusive PS title. Maybe it will even sell more than any 1st party game from MS this year (thanks to the much higher install base, that is).

Exemplary work shinobi. Thanks for counting the votes and putting all this together and whatnot. I'm sure it was a pretty exhausting process.

I'm amazed Mass Effect is as high as it is, given the negative reaction to 3 and the fact we've barely seen any of it. I'm pretty much done with Bioware these days so I don't think I'll even be playing it.

The Last Guardian, Gravity Rush 2 and Mirror's Edge are all way too low. Shame on you Gaf. Shame on you.

Maybe a lot of people would've voted for it, but just aren't convinced it's coming out this year. There's a good reason to be skeptical about when FFXV is being released exactly.

For all that is good in this world, I do hope you are right. They know the game is highly anticipated and they will most likely deserve big sales because of how good the mainline Persona games come out every single time. I doubt P5 will be any different, considering the huge time investment and the delays.

Heard so much praise. I did play and enjoy the whimsical nature of Catherine. It's not the same type of game, but the spirit is still there when I watched the P5 trailers.

UC rightly got top spot. Even though I don't personally have much interest on series or it's characters, I can't deny production values it has. Graphics, varied gameplay (in 4 at least). I know many hate "press x to awesomeness" gameplay, which for example that clip with Nate attacking enemy from above with help of grappling hook and line, proceeding to catch gun mid air and shooting enemy behind him. But sometimes it's just cool to do that stuff, no matter if you do it "automatically".

On other news, I'm bit disappointed that QB is that low. It just looks most interesting game to me. Hopefully it actually lives up to my hype and sells bonkers.

Yearly releases always reduce my hype.

and also DS3 looks more similar to Bloodborne than the GOAT DS! and that makes it less impressive :/

Interesting that Horizon is up so high, considering the last Guerilla game was Killzone: Shadowfall, which didn't get much of a positive reception.
I guess Horizon's debut showing was really good though. Hopefully they'll deliver.

Well they're wrong. Just like those who think TLG is going to get delayed.

It's funny when you think about it. Both went through development limbo, both skipped a gen, and both are coming out in the same year. What are the odds..
