I wish someone would make a controller with a dial for steering with your left thumb? Just remove the dpad, replace with dial, best racing controller ever!

From what I can see and track - from GTP to GAF to my small community - they responded to almost each and every they could and that were reasonable IMO

For instance, if somehow they allow for the oil to be changed in the pits prior to the online races, I can officially announce how each and every single "wish" I personally presented to Kaz over his twitter from 2010-2013 has been covered. I know it is just my small personal universe of wishes, but I can't fathom how can anyone say PD is not listening.. from Spec 2.0 to current 2.15 and all these announcements for GT6.. I can only see how all major community wishes have been covered one-by-one.

If some type of livery-editor (that Kazunori himself hinted few months ago) appears in the final pre-release fact-sheet with all final overviews such as community options, online and rest, it will be a GT game nobody even could dream about.

There is no single area they haven't cover or upgraded or announced they will upgrade. Also, the sheer amount of details presented today is astonishing, all those that have prior knowledge about GT series can read so much out of data they've presented today.

it makes no sense to completely remove it, i'd rather have the gt5 version with a couple of new themes to tide me over until the new and improved version is ready than nothing at all.

My guess would be they revamped the whole thing. No sense to include an outdated version, that would render all created tracks useless when the updated arrived.

I did.

I'm convinced that PD only cares about graphics and "ooh, aah!"-visuals, not the driving or what the cars actually feel and sound like. I mean, i've stood right beside an Audi R8 while it was revving it's engine and that thing is loud and mean - in GT5 it sounded like my dads Volvo.

The sound is SO BAD in the GT games that I have difficulty playing them now, they annoy me so much (specifically tire squeel)
I HATE that Forza is on the Xbox because I prefer every aspect of the game but it's literally the only franchise on the system I care about.
Turn 10, somehow and I don't know how but somehow their sound and rumble guys got the audio / feel so perfect, so right that you really can "feel" road traction when you play that game, it's just great, incredibly surprising with a controller, god only knows what they'll do with the Xbox One.

I am without a doubt convinced that the GT series has used the same tire squeel noise since GT3, fucking sure of it. Very 80's outrun style stupid squeel, kills me.

Quick note: 20 of the new cars are part of the 15th anniversary edition but can be unlocked in the game.



There will be no paid dlc for cars according to Kaz.



Remains to be seen about tracks.

Before people blame Kaz for making broken promises, it seems the site misquoted him because obviously there will be paid DLC cars. Kaz only mentions that the VISION Gran Turismo Concept Cars designed by various manufacturers exclusively for the game will be available for free. He made no mention of production model cars DLC being free.

gps course maker needs a gpx import option, that way you can use google to plot out any route / race circuit in the world and drive it in the game.

a total game changer.

the ps4 version then needs full environment editing tools.

It isn't too bad now, the seasonals have high payouts both in xp and credits, can help with levelling and buying cars quickly.

They took away the title standard/premium because all cars work the same. Parts can be added they can be taken into photomode etc. There will still be cars that are lower poly and they will most likely have a black silhouette for a cockpit ala GT PSP and the patched GT5.

Originally, standard cars never had any cockpit view pre-2.0 update. So I am guessing simple cockpit = 2.0 cockpit.

Well I'm not 100% sure but GT5 had two dealerships. The used car dealership only handled standard cars. Not sure if that is in GT6 but if not then maybe you will have to eyeball it.
