Yu-Gi-Oh card game did require skill and strategy. Been to some tournaments. Craaaaaazy stuff.
To bad it got all, strange after original YuGi.

Holy shit I didn't even see the image before, just read the text.

Man, I wrote better-looking Japanese than that when I was studying it in undergrad. Can't imagine anyone who actually grew up with the language being that awful.

Also K. Rool is never happening get over it nerds.

I would be totally OK with 0 new characters, if they gave the existing clones a completely unique moveset (especially final smashes).

Reminds me of something ...

Nintendo.com use to have a forum and I loved going there back in the day. Had an active brawl area.

Anyway, some girl (or someone claiming to be a girl at least) had everyone there wrapped around her finger. Why, you might ask? Because she lived in Japan!!! :D

And because she lived in the great Japan she would have better insight into what JPN gamers liked and, as a result, what Sakurai would do with the game!!! And because she would know better than anyone what they liked she was the leader that the lil boys there would follow!!!

She would yell up and down about how some female from FE will be in the roster and how Gardevoir would be in because she's like JiggyPuff (in that it's somehow super popular in Japan. Took me years to find out that it's actually a VERY popular Pokemon ... In Poke-porn that is). She would go on and on about random shit.

Fun times ... (actually, that's just a reminder of why I try to black out my memory of brawl forums. Some how the hype for that game took on a life of its own and ... just turned shit into a mad house on every forum :/. It's because of that bs that I fond gaf though so that's something)

i lived in japan for six months once so i know japanese people like the dragon quests so a slime will be in the new smash bros cause i know japanese people

what a horrible-sounding place thank god it's dead

also she sounds like a troll who probably was neither female nor living in japan

Ah, I remembered her/him. I always thought she was boy in disguises. I dislike him because he have followers that would jump into my throat if I don't agreed with her.

I found this forum from brawl hype and I'm glad that I did.

You know, 9-Volt from Warioware is one of my weird choices. He could have some cool retro Nintendo inspired moves, with Warioware craziness.

I remember designing a whole set of moves for him, and even a "final smash" when Brawl came around, with my friends back when there was still hope...

He was gonna bring the moon down man...the fuckin' moon...What a great character he would be in Smash.

Well, maybe he could get in if a Majora's Mask 3DS port happens.

All I really hope for is Lucas and Snake's return. They were my favorite characters and they both have a chance to be cut for a future game.

Considering they are JUST starting to test the DLC waters with the new Fire Emblem, DLC characters might be a thing.

Also, lol Prince Sable? As in, Richard? I would doubt that even a regular trophy would appear.

In a realistic point of view, I'm pretty confident that there's a good chance Sakurai and his team will add Miis to the fight.

K Rool should be in this one, maybe Ninten to complete the MOTHER trio, an Animal Crossing Rep (Animal Crosser or Tom Nook), and someone from a game long forgotten in the 80s-90s.

How about Mach Rider? Just tool him out with some whacked-out moveset. Hell if they can manufacture Captain Falcon with one and give him the most iconic/memetic special move in the franchise's history, they can damn well do it again.

Also, I think Ghirahim should be a playable character and Groose
nator
as an Assist Trophy.

Paper Mario would be cool (his dodge moves could be him standing flat on/crumpling downwards etc.), but the idea of the Skull Kid being playable gets me hella excited.
Would be so awesome... Hell, I'd even be happy if he came as an assist trophy.

Ridley as an assist would be cool too...

I could see him being like a Mitsurugi like character translated into smash engine with swift attacks similar to Marth. Maybe he could switch stances for slight differences in his moves that when used correctly can be quite effective.
They wouldn't even have to be major differences to the point where he is like a completely new character, but small things like a stance that limits his movement speed, but his attack speed is faster. Or a stance that makes his actual character model low down like wolf in brawl.

Actually...thinking about it, has there been a stance like character in the smash series? I can't recall there being one...and I love smash bros.

I think it's possible that one of the recent eShop games will get a character in. Dillon from Dillon's Rolling Western or the main character from Sakura Samurai would fit in nicely.

Freakyforms and/or Pushmo will probably get a stage.

One thing I would love to see is an Ouendan/EBA character make it in. Fight your opponents with breakdance, cheer-leading choreography, and the power of MUSIC!

I've got a few ideas for some of the series.

Mario: Bowser's Castle
Long overdue and kind of obvious, there will be fire, crushing spike cylinders and those moving snake blocks.

Zelda: Spirit Tracks Overworld
A moving stage on the back of Link's train and carriage, similar to the great sea in the sense that the various stuff that happens on the game overworld is present in this stage, including of course those super death trains, get knocked into one tailing the main train and it's massive damage time!

DK: Tidal Terror
Lets get the hell out of the jungle for a change, a hectic stage that would make use of the gimmicks in both Stormy Seas and Tidal Terror. Evading huge waves of water from the background that give off a "push back" effect and the rampaging agitated Squid could be a laugh.

Starfox: Zoness
Toxic water that damages you floods the lower area of the stage with an ebb and flow due to the wavy nature of the sea, damages with no knock back as to not make it like many of the Metroid stages. The stage itself would be something akin to an oil rig or maybe even the versus stage from Assault. Occasionally the waves could bring in those upwards exploding bombs that bob on the waters surface.

Metroid: Sanctuary Fortress
I have no gimmick ideas, I just want the setting. I guess the Light/Dark mechanic could come into play in all their hiding in light sphere glory for Dark Aether. Failing that you fight on Quadraxis somehow.

Kirby: Patchwork Dreamland
Now for a very uninspired stage that i'd like to see anyway, remember those whispy woods stages from previous Smash games? yeah basically this done over in epic yarn style. Assume that there would be more than the one new Kirby stage.

F-Zero: The bar from the chapter 3 cut scene of GX story mode. (so Casino Palace?)
Come on you love this really, a bar room brawl with all the F-Zero characters chugging away in the background and that "F-ZEEEEEROOOO" song as possible stage music.

Pokemon: N's Castle
So it's a castle stage with the main dragons of black and white having a punch up that can occasionally effect the stage itself. That aside it would be pretty basic, like a lesser Spear Pillar.

Wario: Pinball Zone
Pinball in Smash Bros, think of the chaos! So flippers, bumpers and pinballs everywhere, would be the bloody annoying stage of the game no doubt.

Yoshi: Lakitu's Wall
Another Yoshi's Island stage with a simple layout and those pesky spiny throwing Lakitu and fat shyguys trying to bump you off stage, i'm up for anything really as long as we keep with Island and ignore Story. (not that I dislike the art direction of Story, I just like Island's direction much more)

Fire Emblem: Serenes Forest
The marsh like nature of the ground could slow movements in certain areas, while usually a very grey and desolate setting the stage could go through some Yoshi's Island style appearance change to the more vibrant and green forest due to Heron magic. As for how it would go back to being grey and ravaged again....fire?

Also, if Skull Kid is somehow in the game... I'm maining him. I don't care if he's worse than Kirby in Melee, he's my main. Too bad it ain't happening ;_;

The Dojo neeeeeeeds to return. I had so much fun with that site, waking up every morning and checking it, waiting for it to update as I ate breakfast and got ready for school. The timing was perfect for the updates here in the UK.

I remember when Sonic got revealed, and I was like "OMGGGGSOOONNNIKKKKKKKKK!!!", then I pulled out my phone to phone my mate who was likely looking at the update at the same time, and realized he actually beat me to it and was phoning me. I answered and we both squealed like little girls and jumped and hissy fitted around our houses.
Then we saw each other at school and did it again.

Dojo changes people man...

By the way, why do people want K.rool in this game? I think he is just so...blegh. I find him bland and boring. Much better choices IMO. Feel free to try and change my mind, cause I'm struggling to see what makes him interesting.

I would do anything for Ghirahim to be a playable character. He's just got so much personality and his character design is pure awesome.
