NFL 2014 Wild Card |OT| The Prophet

From Barnwell's Wild Card preview this morning:

Luck, once a leading MVP candidate, dropped off considerably during the second half. His 72.9 QBR was sixth-best through Week 10; after returning from his bye the following week, Luck’s QBR fell all the way to 48.9, placing him just below Geno Smith (49.1) and Jay Cutler (49.3) over that same time frame. DVOA further drops Luck for the relative lack of quality competition he faced.

Yikes.

Looking at the list very pleased with Joel Bitonio getting a vote.

Also think Gipson may have got a few more votes if he didn't get injured.

We all know the Stafford 0-17 on the road against winning teams statistic, but...wow:

Scott Kacsmar @FO_ScottKacsmar
BUF won, so Stafford has finally played a 9-7 team. He also didn't win that game, so 3-30.

B5-P3hdCIAMPI_F.jpg:large

Doesn't include the GB game, so make that 3-31 vs. teams with winning records in his career.

Borland was the best defensive rookie this year

Everyone knows it's Mack even if they don't give it to him. Played in the toughest situation against the best teams.

Have to disagree, also:

It's nice to see people noticed.

Just need to beat Baltimore and he should almost certainly be good to go for Denver.
He should be ready to go against Denver but Bell is not going to decide who wins that game.

It is going to be Mannings body.

If we get gimp Manning (the one that has been playing for the Broncos for the past month of so) we have a great shot of winning that game. I mean fucking Andy Dalton outplayed the gimp in a night game! If we get a healthy Manning I don't think we can beat the Broncos with out garbo defense.

Hopefully Indy finally beats NE on the other side of the bracket and we get a safe AFC Championship where no one loses no matter who wins.

AJ Green officially listed as doubtful.

And now my Cincy +10.5 teaser pick doesn't look as tasty as it did on Monday :/

Bell is out. Well that blows, because that means the Ravens will be visiting the Pats next week. Was hoping to avoid the AFC north teams if possible.

Colts secondary and pass rush is almost non existent. Control Hilton and you control the Colts offense.

Ben vs. the Ravens secondary is like Gata vs common sense. Seriously lopsided.

Why do people think Bell being out change things for this game? Seriously, three people at work have already come to me saying this, you all are saying this, am I missing something? Is Roethlisberger out? Did Jimmy Smith get healthy? Antonio Brown hurt? If anything, they'll just be passing more. I stand by what I said earlier, if our pass rush gets going, and Joe Flacco goes crazy, we can win in a shootout. If not, it's going to playoff records galore for Ben.

I hope we get to play the steelers this year
You are dumber than I thought.

The Steelers are one of the few AFC teams that could give the Pats problem (assuming Peyton really is dead for the season).

That would be so nice.

I don't think I have been happy inside since the helmet catch!

Playoff flacco ain't no joke. Ben will have to put up almost 40, without the help of a running game.

If the steelers lose tomorrow they can blame it on a single personnel move - dumping blount for nothing.
