Saturday, Dec. 18 -

Pittsburgh at N.Y. Giants, 1:30 p.m.
Washington at San Francisco, 5:00 p.m.
Carolina at Atlanta, 8:30 p.m. - would this be an upset special? Either way it'll be a great game

Sunday, Dec. 19 -

Buffalo at Cincinnati, 1:00 p.m. - 10-6 I still believe!!!
Dallas at Philadelphia, 1:00 p.m. - had the Cowboys not lost to the Aints I'd almost look for them here in an upset special
Denver at Kansas City, 1:00 p.m. - Denver needs to lose here.
Houston at Chicago, 1:00 p.m.
Minnesota at Detroit, 1:00 p.m. - I'm not confident, but when I think of the words 'Joey' and 'Harrington', I am confident.
San Diego at Cleveland, 1:00 p.m. - not going to be pretty for the Brownies
Seattle at N.Y. Jets, 1:00 p.m.
New Orleans at Tampa Bay, 4:05 p.m. - forget it. I'm not tipping the Aints.
St. Louis at Arizona, 4:05 p.m. - when is Bulger back? If he's out I'm going Arizona instead
Jacksonville at Green Bay, 4:15 p.m. - Jags need to lose, but I don't think they will.
Tennessee at Oakland, 4:15 p.m.
Baltimore at Indianapolis, 8:30 p.m. - I don't think the record is broken in this game. I think there'll be some good numbers put up by both teams however.

Monday, Dec. 20 -

New England at Miami, 9:00 p.m. - I think it'll be a close game.

A couple of notes -

Fuck I'm happy to see Buffalo with a winning record right now. WRONG CONFERENCE THOUGH. :(

No matter who starts for Cinci, I think they're in for some pain. Willis should rack up some nice yards on the ground, maybe Bledsoe will be able to have a good game and mix two touchdowns in with his three picks.

Bills have a weak schedule (@Bungals, @Niners, Steelers) and have a legit chance at going 10-6, but the Steelers game is a worry. I'm hoping by then that Pittsburgh will have home field wrapped up so they don't need to stomp us in order to get it.

G-Men are going to get owned. Sorry.

Panthers/Vicks is the game that has my interest more than any other.

I'm also pulling for the Seachickens to get rolled - I'm desperate to see an 8-8 (or worse) team host a playoff game. :lol

Sunday, Dec. 19 -

Buffalo at Cincinnati, 1:00 p.m. Note: May contain a certain amount of wishful thinking.
Dallas at Philadelphia, 1:00 p.m.
Denver at Kansas City, 1:00 p.m. - Denver needs to lose here. (Yeah, what he said...)
Houston at Chicago, 1:00 p.m. - Teams playing at Jacksonville are 1-5 in their next games, and the Bears have no OL. :)
Minnesota at Detroit, 1:00 p.m.
San Diego at Cleveland, 1:00 p.m.
Seattle at N.Y. Jets, 1:00 p.m.
New Orleans at Tampa Bay, 4:05 p.m.
St. Louis at Arizona, 4:05 p.m. - If you can lose to San Francisco twice, you can lose to anyone.
Jacksonville at Green Bay, 4:15 p.m. Jags to the playoffs.
Tennessee at Oakland, 4:15 p.m. Billy Volek is on fire! Should have benched Peyton and played him and Brian Griese in my fantasy team this week. :lol :lol :lol
Baltimore at Indianapolis, 8:30 p.m. I feel dirty cheering for the Colts, but Baltimore must lose.

Monday, Dec. 20 -

New England at Miami, 9:00 p.m. A flash of genius at Miami! They tell Feeley to start passing to cornerbacks. A sudden spate of interceptions by Miami wide receivers wins the day in the upset of the century!

There's always Saturday games at this time in December as the regular season winds down.....the NFL likes to prep their audience for the last few weekends so that they realize and get accustomed to the fact that there's playoff games come Saturdays in January. I would say it prolly isn't really necessary, but I understand why they do it.

EDIT: Looking at the schedule, another good question is why is there a game on Friday, Christmas eve this year? That one's a little weird.

Instead of just predicting games. Lets also ask the question of which quarter Eli Manning will be replaced by Warner?

I think it will be the end of the 2nd quarter.

Lamont Jordan's bitching about the Jets "O", so a game against Seattle should make everyone happy. It will be nice to score above 20 points for a change before our battle w/ the Patriots.

Eli makes it through the half at least.

And Jags will squeak one out on Favre. Because he's such a warrior or whatnot.

Holy shit, who's playing on Christmas Eve? Fucking awesome. Nothing like having some drinks with the family and watching some football. Awesome.

and I'd bet money manning breaks the record sunday night. Primetime national television? Forget about it. It's already broken.

...not to mention the ravens pass D got lit up by Carson Palmer not so long ago. I think Manning is up for the task.

Packers at the Vikings. The game that could decide the NFC North.

LOL GOOD ONE BECAUSE HE'S NEVER WON A PLAYOFF GAME BEFORE AM I RITE!?!

But Sanders also had some rants on the sport he does play, football, particularly on Giants' rookie quarterback Eli Manning after Sanders' Ravens destroyed the Giants on Sunday.

"It's just horrible over there, the atmosphere, and you could feel it on the field," Sanders said of the Giants, who haven't won a game since Manning was named the starter. "It translates to that. It was almost like you're playing against a team that couldn't wait until the season was over.

"It was so bad, that literally on a timeout, I went over and summoned him (Eli Manning) up when they removed him from the game. I said, 'Young fella, keep your head up, man. You're going to be a star in this game. Just keep your head up.' But I could see that it lifted his spirits up a bit because the game was just horrendous. I mean, the play-calling, the offense is so predictable; guys are getting battered every day; they're getting fined for wearing a hat to practice, you know."

:lol wow, that's pretty terrible

If the Falcons lose Eagles might not even play their starters the whole game. They will have allready clinched the #1 seed.

mine's been over for awhile, so i have to live vicariously through the colts, who are my sort of AFC team since they aren't in the north. but i still only believe in friendly rivalry, with the exception of tom brady.

while the panthers are playing really well considering how banged up they are, I just don't expect them to beat the falcons. seems like Vick always does really well against them.

Seriously, Brady must be stopped. And as I have been saying almost every week since around week 4, Big Ben was obviously sent down to us from heaven to deliver us from the evil reign of this Pats Dynasty. Just as Moses delivered the Jews from the Pharoah, we will see miracles on that order again when the Pats lose to the Steelers. The Messiah has never lost yet and he won't lose until his destiney is fulfilled.

Btw, when is Ty law supposed to come back to the Pats?

Remember how and where he got hurt. Heinz field leaves no prisoners!

People really don't understand how horrible the field at Heinz is, which is why I laugh at people who think someone is going to light up Pittsburgh for 40 points there. You can't do that timing shit and finesse on a field that horrible, you either have to run it down someone's throat or get a one on one and hope your man is better.

I was surprised to hear how many games are generally played at Heinz on any given Friday/Saturday. No wonder it's so shitty.

Yep, they play their entire high school championship game schedule on it plus the Panthers and Steelers home games all year. It was a mess for the Skins game and wasn't much better last week. It should improve some now that the college and high school seasons are over. How about that stat that there hasn't been a field goal of 50 yards or more converted on Heinz field yet? 0-5 I think it is in almost 4 full seasons. And I'm sure we all remember how the field ran Kris Brown out of town. Tough place to kick. Wonder what the overall percentage of field goals made there is.

WEEK 15

Saturday, Dec. 18

Pittsburgh at N.Y. Giants, 1:30 p.m.
Washington at San Francisco, 5:00 p.m.
Carolina at Atlanta, 8:30 p.m.

Sunday, Dec. 19

Buffalo at Cincinnati, 1:00 p.m. - I hope the Bills make the AFC Wild Card...
Dallas at Philadelphia, 1:00 p.m.
Denver at Kansas City, 1:00 p.m.
Houston at Chicago, 1:00 p.m.
Minnesota at Detroit, 1:00 p.m.
San Diego at Cleveland, 1:00 p.m.
Seattle at N.Y. Jets, 1:00 p.m.
New Orleans at Tampa Bay, 4:05 p.m.
St. Louis at Arizona, 4:05 p.m.
Jacksonville at Green Bay, 4:15 p.m.
Tennessee at Oakland, 4:15 p.m.
Baltimore at Indianapolis, 8:30 p.m.

Monday, Dec. 20

New England at Miami, 9:00 p.m.

I think with the injuries to Griffth and Duckett, plus the fact that Atlanta has sewn up the NFC South, the Panthers will want the game more and therefore will be able to pull the upset. We've never beaten Vick, but now's a good time to start.

I think Saturday NFL games at this time, has more to do with the fact that the college season is over save for the bowl games. Can you imagine a college football fan turning on a TV on a Saturday in September/October/November and seeing Terry Bradshaw or Deion Sanders mugging for the screen? They and the networks would be running for the hills to get away from murderous fans. ;)

Possibly, but there were no NFL or college games on last saturday.

Colts/Ravens will be the game of the year. I won't give my picks, because it's obvious, but it should be a close game. Just think if Mularkey had challenged the call on Henry's run being a touchdown(Raiders Week two), the Bills would be in a lot better shape. So many what-ifs this season. Sucks so much, about the only thing worth looking forward to in Buffalo is football season...oh wait, sales tax is going to 9.25% in march...someone fucking kill me.

Next year when NFL Sunday Ticket adds the Redzone feature that will automatically jump to games when teams are in the redzone you can!
