Quick look, best available free agents are Marleau (88 LW), Thornton (88 C), Petry (86 D) and Miller (92 G)
Is this a copy of miller or did he not get resigned?

And Red dropped unfortunately, despite being active all season. I'm guessing that #1 pick loss was pretty upsetting. I'd be bummed too.

I guess I am willing to trade Bobrovsky as well as the other goalies on my block on the last page. (24 yrs, 4 yellow stars, 1.something mil for this year, then RFA next season)

Took out the NHL 13 tube and plugged in the Halo 4 one.
Best part is every CPU team going after Goc while none of us are interested. I wonder what the AI detected that we didn't.
And San Jose (mibupe) had $26m in cap space, yet didn't resign Schwartz and Rodin.... oversight, I guess, but he did resign some of his other guys.
They detected that he was severely underrated as the 5th center on my roster.
If it does, I'm locking your team out.

A major overpayment for both, but that's what I figured I would have to do to actually sign some free agents this year.

Damn, wasn't able to snag any of the really good FA's (as expected, only had 10.6mio to work with), but also none of the 4star prospects/players... Damn. Oh well. Got Clifford and Stephensen (3.5star prospects) and two 4th liners... Mhmm.

It should tell you if you go to GM options -> offer sheets. Check the "compensation" tab for picks/salary reference
Didn't get Marleau, Leblanc or Faulk, but I did get some solid prospects. Can't complain.
LA gave you a 2nd. Offer sheet compensation shows up at the top of the 'new signings' page apparently. I guess you didn't have the option of matching because of cap space?
You got Rodin and Maatta, right? Dang. And you got Rask last offseason too, no good prospects want to come to Columbus :lol. Can't overpay a 2way contract, sadly.
Also, looks like Winnipeg got Petry. Who got Thornton?

I'm looking to move Versteeg (83) or Setoguchi (81) and plus for an upgrade on my RW.
I also have Skinner (82, 4.5) or Johansson (79, 4) available at center, and a bunch of 3 star D prospects.

Was able to pick up Peckham on a 1 year deal (so an overpayment has less of an effect) and some minor 3star-mid20-78 players to round out my team. I'm okay with the haul now. Will post trading block once I've gone over my starting lineups tmrw morning..
