I didn't know you were looking to rebuild, would have gave up both Puempel and Stone for Ebs.oh well.
LOL Hodgson faceoff stat at 60.
Can still use him as a Winger, I do that with my low-faceoff C's like Horak

Appreciate you posting this here. Good for anyone to chip in that wants to, plus it helps us draw the line on what makes sense and what doesn't.I made a trade that the CPU accepted, so I'm posting it for judgement:
To Minnesota:
Mike Fisher (80OV)
2nd round pick
To Dallas:
Val Filppula (82OV)
4th round pick
They're both on one year deals. They're both white stars. Filppula is 3 years younger I think? The swap of picks was meant to balance it out.
Not a huge deal or anything, but I wanted to try and trade Fisher and a pick for a better 2nd line C option.
Judge away.
Then don't waste time giving bogus reasons for why Minnesota would accept a trade like that! The way I saw it, from Minnesota's point of view they would probably let either (Fisher or Filppula) walk after the year ends anyway. They have a TON of centers in the 77-82 range. Granlund, Stajan, Loktionov, Hanzal, and Bouma are all in that range with other guys like Hamill close.
I can see what you're saying, and I agree that I wouldn't do that deal in their situation if I didn't know that was the best available offer for Filppula. If I did, and I had that kind of center depth, though, I probably would take it.
I'm still looking for a young-ish top line C and am willing to include 2 1sts THIS YEAR (TOR and MTL).
Galchenyuk has 2 weeks until I decide if he stays with the big club
Whats his overall?
Thinking of finally putting Stone in but hes only 73OVR.

There's no point to keep him up. He'd gain a lot better development playing in the AHL.
missed out on hodson. he got offer sheeted and i let him go for a 1st and 3rd

If you look a year or two down the road, most of us are in that situation. Like Winnipeg. Already at the cap and will need to give Shinkaruk a $9m raise next season.BigJonsson said:.......I am straight fucked for the 2017-18 season.....

I don't think your situation is so bad. Neal is crazy overpriced, right? He'll take a cut. Some of the other guys won't ask for raises. etc

You're a little more combative in this thread than the other NHL one. It's weird.Don't bring me into this. I'm good for next season.

This fucking game.
2013/14 season: Seguin loses 39 games to a season-ending injury
2014/15 season: Seguin loses 48 games due to multiple injuries
2015/16 season: was going to be different! 3 games in, Seguin out 25 games.
-.- jesus.
Also, Peckham out 20 games.
yay, 3 games in and my 1C and 3D are already out for 1/4th of the season.
Leafs are undefeated!
Hoping Bozak signed with me. His faceoff skill alone is useful... IF EA actually puts that into count when simming is the other question...lol
You got no RWers though plus not interested in picks. If we could get a 3rd team in the trade maybe.
Does anyone think a trade between me and the Devils around Enroth from me and Pavelski or Cammalleri is out of line?
