Just checked the German press release and despite the fact IARC is working now on the eShop, Germany won't get:

-Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures
-Petit Novel series
-Life of Pixel (this was released a while ago, but they had an opportunity to release it in Germany, now that it's discounted)

I'm so fed up with all this bullshit. There is absolutely zero reason why we shouldn't get these games as well. To the publishers in charge- go fuck yourself!

Because I&F are a tiny indie dev who can't develop multiple versions to completion at a time and have to pay the bills which means releasing them in waves. Besides, it's very likely they'll offer a cross-discount which is what they did for SW Dig (you got 25% off on Wii U if you owned the 3DS version already).

Yeah, but cross-buy is the standard on other consoles and I don't see why they can't offer that here as well. Most people are not gonna buy the same game twice. I sure as hell won't, 25% off or not. Now that I have to wait for the version I want, it's more likely I wait a little longer for a sale. Were cross-buy a thing I would have purchased the 3DS game now.

Uff, not looks good. Poor German fellas.
Is it IARC already 100% implemented? Maybe it needs more time.

IARC is fully in place. But you still have to re-submit your game as a patch to Lotcheck. So it takes time.

For example. My game ZaciSa is in EU Lotcheck right now to get it out in AU/NZ but will likely won't release until Jan at earliest if approved.

Okay, I think that's incredible stupid of Nintendo, but at least I can see why some games will take a while to be released in Germany and Down Under. So, does that mean the games that aren't getting released in Germany this week have been rated by PEGI before IARC was put in place? And your game was rated by PEGI and USK, but not the ACB? Because otherwise it still wouldn't make sense, would it?

I had no idea they were making a 3DS version of Rytmik. I liked playing around with the DSi version. Hopefully we get the discount for owning The Keep in the states as well.

IARC is fairly recent. Any recently released game would have gone the PEGI paid route MANY months ago. Like easily 4+ months ago. Games have to be rated before being submit to lotcheck. IARC became active for Nintendo like a little over a month ago. So yes, it will still take time for you to see IARC rated games. (Though, IARC rated games just becomes the ESRB/PEGI/USK/AU individual rating)

Minecraft next week.

yaaaayyyy?

nay for me. Minecraft never interested me.

My priorities are:

FAST Racing Neo (Shin'en | €14.99 | £10.99)
SteamWorld Heist (Image & Form | €16.99 | £11.99 until 12/31, then €19.99 | £14.99)
The Delusions of Von Sottendorff and his Square Mind (Delirium Studios | €12.99 | £TBD)
Petit Novel series - Harvest December (Circle Ent. | €11.99 | £9.19)
Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures (ScrewAttack Games | €9.99 | £8.99)
Life of Pixel (Super Icon) - €4.99/£4.49 (Ends January 9, normally €9.99/£8.99)

Included Xenoblade X already bought. Only I need money and time.

Nay for me as well. Only cause I bought it on PS4 last year.

But, I'm excited for it. Not just cause I like Minecraft, but also so all the Miiverse kids will stop asking me to make Minecraft. lol

Edit: Bad timing for the Stone Shire dev. He recently did a $1.00 sale, but Nintendo's cut for it was $1.19. So, come Jan 2016, Nintendo will likely be sending him a bill.

I would take a 3DS version in a heartbeat. Wii U, I'm on the fence. I've had the PC version since alpha and have put tons of hours into it... but the thought of Nintendo-exclusive content or possible amiibo support is exciting.

Was hoping that would've been today's "big" news, but nope. EU said March, I think, so I wonder if the US will be around the same time.

The new account system isn't live yet for signups, outside of Japan, correct? Don't want to miss out on registering my username..

Yeah, it's only Japan right now.

From what I've heard, Nintendo Accounts seem to have dropped unique usernames in favor of signing in with an email address. Keep in mind that NNID still exists under the new system, though. Nintendo Accounts aren't an outright replacement.

The Japanese launch of nintendo account is a sort of test-run for them, they said last week somewhere. So expect NA and PAL regions to get it both next year in March alongside My Nintendo and Miitomo.

Can someone tell me which thread featured the discussion of Nintendo digital sales in the last month.

I'm not finding it. Specifically I'm curious if Earthbound sales can be inferred to a range from the list.

Steel Empire, that 3DS eShop shmup that's a "remake" of the Genesis title, is heading to EU on Dec. 17th for €15.99, & to celebrate, on the 24th, it'll be 50% off on the US eShop, making it about $14.99

The Medabots RPGs (Metabee and Rokusho) are hitting the Virtual Console in NA Thursday, per Natsume's Twitter.

Japan's getting
F-Zero Climax, Drill Dozer, Shockman (PC Engine), Mother 3, Momonga Pinball Adventures, Minecraft and Master Reboot next week on the Wii U as well as #FE being now available for pre-load now

On the 3DS, they are getting Ocean Runner (Tae Japan), and The Let's Make a large frontier-town (Arc System Works) and the retail games of Shokugeki no Soma, Air Traffic Controller Airport Hero 3D Kansai ALL STARS, some game about not getting caught in tag and Monster Strike

Zonic

Hopefully Drill Dozer keeps the rumble feature. A shame that cartridge didn't work with DS games that supported it (from what I recall).

Now how long will we have to wait to get that?

Interesting. Thanks for the details!

By the way, we already have an IARC game... Pokémon Picross. I checked the ACB website, and it shows the game was submitted with IARC. Interesting stuff. Then again, it's not like Nintendo have to go through lotcheck the same way as indie developers ;)

Is Petit Novel - Harvest December, like, a traditional Japanese Visual Novel? It's been quite a while since I played one of those and I could use one right now.

Oh wow, Nintendo has actually adjusted Swiss prices on the eShop. 1€ isn't like 1.4CHF anymore, it's closer to 1.1CHF.

Heist is mine.

Nutty that FAST Racing and SW Heist coming out at the same time

arguably the two biggest eShop releases of the year and they couldn't even be spread out by a couple weeks

Ever wonder what Jet set Radio would be like if were a rhythm-based beat-em-up about a girl, slamming trenchcoat wearing flashers with a hammer?

Buy Radiohammer and find out.

Seriously. I might be enjoying this more than anything else from eShop haul today.
