There's nothing Nintendo can do to generate the same hype as the three games at Sony. Those three were legendary "never gonna happen" games.
The closest IP they got is Diddy Kong Racing, and even then it will be a departure from the original due to the rumored removal of many of the elements of the original Rare game (characters, music, courses, etc.) thus harming its nostalgia cache. I don't think a series like F-Zero will do it since there is no infamous vaporware for that series, and it wasn't completely dead and buried like Shenmue. English Mother 3 would be crazy, but the Earthbound Beginnings announcement already put the expectations in place, as well as Mother 3 already being a game that many people have played.
I mean, I guess the best they can do is bring dead 3rd party IPs back to life. Mega Man Legends 3 would be the most obvious example that they could get together, and I think the only one that could stand up to Shenmue/TLG/FF7 thanks largely due to the infamous cancellation. A Chrono Trigger sequel and The World Ends With You 2 would also be big gets. Again though, they don't need 1 megaton, they need many.
Sony didn't just have the biggest E3 conference of the year, they had one of the biggest ever. Persona 5 was a complete no-show, and their biggest gun Uncharted 4 wasn't even the most talked about game there. I think Nintendo can do a good job tomorrow, but they are at a disadvantage from the start with no Zelda.
