Well, Sony's conference was pretty badass and the best of E3 so far but it doesn't have Zelda so it's now up to Nintendo to deliver big time tomorrow and demostrate that when Nintendo is in a good mood, they can pull out top notch AAAAAAA+ games.

Sony's Conference was very solid perhaps I should've added 1 or 2 more games to my expectations. But it wasn't repeat fest which was nice.

This is turning out a rather mellow E3 frankly. I don't mind personally, the world these days is bit more stress inducing but I don't particularly want to be distracted by it.

Horizon's probably going to be the PS4's defining game however.

Let us see how Zelda tops things off.

Alright, only Nintendo's presentation left. I'm gonna get some sleep, but I should be back soon.

It's going to be hard to compete with that Kojima disasterpiece.

Sony's conference is quite solid, but the games are not going to be released for quite a while, and only Horizon really interests me... Now, we wait for 13 hours for the new ZELDA!!!

That trailer for Horizon looked like it was trying to match all of the known Zelda footage beat for beat. From the mountaintop view to the nature vs machine aesthetic.

Sony's conference was solid. Pretty much all of that is coming out late 2017 or 2018 though. Nothing that would make me buy a PS4 still with me still able to get so many games on the PC I wished.

Please deliver though on Zelda tomorrow Nintendo. I need that to make this E3 worthwhile to me.

Nintendo were right not to do a stage show or Direct. It would have fallen so flat following Sony's excellent show.

I'm now reasonably hyped to see Zelda, and I'm really eager to see the show floor designs too.

Nintendo, save your guns for NX!

The only reason for me to buy a PS4 is Final Fantasy VII remake. Nothing new so far, but I'm wating to see SE.

Sony was good, but I wasn't interested in anything they had, but at least most people will enjoy what they showed

Now Nintendo, show me that Zelda and Pokemon

Zelda gameplay better be ace. Horizon looking crazy good and gave me Zelda vibes. Lets hope the dungeons and puzzles are still ace while also maintaining great combat and overworld play.

HYPE

It's been an OK E3 for me. South Park, Death Stranding, RE7 and GOW4 stand outs so far. But Zelda is my biggest gaming love so it's all in Nintendo's court if they are gonna take my game of show. Hype is through the roof!!!!

Hey,

So that Hero Academia gif of a young deku nodding his head at the PC whilst his mum loads the allmight video.

Could a GAF wizard Zeldafy the gif? 😃

I can already SEE the Zelda U/Horizon comparisons popping up, and it won't look pretty for Nintendo.

Despite the apparent similarities they'll still likely end up being dramatically different games. Big part of Zelda is the dungeons, puzzles, etc which I don't think HZD will really explore at all. That game is far more combat focused by the looks of it, which looks great, but end of the day overall content and direction of either is going to be very different.

On the other hand, we'll have a lot more Footage of Zelda to indulge in than the cherry picked clips of Horizon. And besides, this is the Nintendo realm of insanity, something interesting will come about.

People already did this once to reveal NSMBWii early.

So we can do this.

I mean, you were probably joking, but here's my image analysis:

The picture was likely taken fro the other side out onto the show floor (note lines of architecture). That means Nintendo will actually reveal... the audience!?.

Pack it up folks, nothing to see here.

It's all folds in the cloth. The curtain is relatively opaque.

True, but it will be meaningless. It'll look prettier, that's for certain (technically anyway). It should no way dissuade you from being hyped for Zelda.

Hmm, I didn't like how Horizon's Faces look Zoomed in, I have a feeling that Zelda won't have that issue by virtue of Art design.

I mean watching that demo for Horizon, the entire time I was left thinking "I really hope Zelda doesn't look super underwhelming after this..."

Because yeah. That was a crazy cool-looking demo with some fucking awesome designs. High bar for Nintendo to meet tomorrow.

But BOY I SURE CAN'T WAIT FOR A GAME THAT STILL DOESN'T HAVE FUCKING VOICE ACTING! /s

It's like comparing devil may cry and dark souls.

Yet the comparison's are completely not invalid between those two there, both have rather lethal combat for both ends for example.

Also, Folks it will forever be a bad idea to compare games based on limited cherry picked demos.

It's been ~14 months since they announced the delay and the E3 2015 no-show and Aonuma said...

In these last three months, as the team has experienced firsthand the freedom of exploration that hasn't existed in any Zelda game to date, we have discovered several new possibilities for this game. As we have worked to turn these possibilities into reality, new ideas have continued to spring forth, it now feels like we have the potential to create something that exceeds even my own expectations.

As I have watched our development progress, I have come to think that rather than work with meeting a specific schedule as our main objective, and releasing a game that reflects only what we can create within that scheduled time, I feel strongly that our focus should be to bring all these ideas to life in a way that will make The Legend of Zelda on Wii U the best game it can possibly be.

So, I must apologize to you all that were expecting the game by year's end, but we are no longer making a 2015 release our number one priority. Instead, our priority is to make the most complete and ultimate Zelda game.

My expectations for what they show tomorrow are extremely high.

I thought Horizon looked kinda tank-y, honestly.
