What's the probably of me getting my ass kicked online?

I actually went on a trip to Japan over the last summer. Me and my brother went to a couple arcades in Nipponbashi, Osaka and it seemed like everybody was ignoring all the other cabinets in favor of Gundam VS.

High, because the people in America left playing it probably have been playing it since launch. Although there has been a new wave of players since the Best Release.

And yes it is the most popular competitive arcade game (that's actually played on a cabinet) in Japan.

Because it's like the best game ever. :P Like Tek said, it's usually the #1 small cabinet arcade game in Japan and never really leaves the top 3 since its release last April.

Seriously though, in the beginning you'll always get your ass handed to you. If you want, come into the #gafgundam room on Esper in IRC and we can have a couple matches to ease you in. Gotta start somewhere. ^^

Also, ggs everyone. Was a terribad fun time with random play stream.
 
Anyone down to play tomorrow? Just got back from Japan a few weeks ago and I've been playing the hell out of the Mission Mode. Wanna start playing against actual people!

I'm pretty sure there'll be a bunch who are down to play. Try to jump on the #gafgundam room on Espernet IRC to hook up with us as we setup matches there.

Well, the other 3000 units above it have better tools to dish out damage, more movement options, etc. WZC has been low tier for awhile now, especially with its A not always being consistent when shot.
 
So I'm thinking I should sell my copy of this. I tried popping it in today for a bit and realized that I'm just not into it anymore. I just don't have the drive to put in the time required to get good at it, I guess.

What would be a good asking price for a virtually mint copy of the Asian version?

Just noticed this is really cheap with free shipping on Play-Asia, has the sequel been announced at all for PS3? Iirc the sequel came out 2 years ago? I might bite on this one for some arcadey action at home.
 
I've been in Japan the last few weeks and I see this game everywhere. Not big on getting destroyed by experienced Japanese arcade players, so it breaks my heart that Full Boost still hasn't been released for PS3 yet. And it won't have Shenlong Gundam when it does anyway... :(
