The core mechanic changes in FB definitely upped its viability outside of unit specific changes from vanilla.
 
Zero Custom got fixes to its attacks like having the gerobi always come out instead of just randomly pretending to shoot but cutting out. That's partially why it's gotten better in rankings.

This was my main reason for dropping him.

I mean the MC's sucked, and his melee was pretty crap but dear god this was to much. The entire time I couldn't figure out the exact reason this would happen. At times it seemed like it was because of just being at the right angle and being close enough to the ground and then other times it would come out under the exact same conditions.

I just couldn't do it despite my love for Zero.
 
Tekno and Donkey are right. This is a dream game for old fans of Gotcha Force, though I wish we had transforming units.

LOL. More than likely will be revealed later on this year and will probably be released in either December or Jan next year since that follows the releases of the last couple home ports.

There's still a fuckton of suits they haven't officially announced yet for FB that have been leaked.

Just buy it. Assuming FB comes, it wont be until late in the year. 40 bucks for a whole year of gundaming? fuck yeah. DO IT. Think of all the other games you buy at 60 and only play for like a month!

Nope, and it probably never will.

Luckily, you do not need much of an understanding of Japanese to play through the game.
 
Since the game has reignited the Gundam fan inside, I started watching AGE.

Not as horrible as I imagined it being. And I hear it gets better when you get past Flit?
 
I've actually never played Gotchaforce. I chose this name as a joke, since my co-workers comment that I say "gotcha gotcha" a lot. Ordered it just now since it went down to 40. I've some local friends who like any kind of vs game (some are getting Anarchy Reigns) and Gundam so I'm sure I'll have local competition.

Can you do 2 players on the same team vs say the story or bots or online opponents?

LOL, that's a wild coincidence then. As for 2 player split screen, it's local only. So you can play Arcade mode (which there are a good amount of routes to take, plus I think a trophy is won by either meddling or unlocking all the routes) or you can play normal VS matches against computer opponents (both players on the same or different team). Once you try to go online, it's 1p only. :(

If you have any other questions, just ask. I'd also recommend checking out the tutorial videos in the first post. It'll make jumping into the game a lot easier.

Ehhhhh... let's just say the peaks of the show are never high enough to warrant a recommendation, lol.
 
Pretty good at rush down although he has some problems closing in.

It's absolutely insane, kind of blows my mind.

It's low on boost but only because you could set up really ridiculous dumb stuff if it had anymore. AC into AB into B and all of which have ridiculous tracking and cancelling of momentum.

Also a great EX-Burst with good tracking, easier to hit than most.
 
Finally got home and had a chance to try out GP03. I really like that unit so far and it may became my main high cost suit.

I am planning to at least get Strike Noir tonight once I get home since that design always interested me.

Netplay is pretty much the entire point of the game so yes!
 
It's playable even on some of the worst connections known to man, for a very loose definition of "playable".
