while i am sure everybody took it as him saying the gap was 7-10k he didn't exactly spell out he meant the gap between xb1 and ps4 in hardware numbers. everybody just ran with the post that just said "7-10k" without any context. i don't blame anyone though because i thought the same too

Yeah, though I think to be fair, if you took that in traditional cboat speak, he could've meant 710k which at the time I think was like the gap between LTD console sales.

How so? Sony bundled and priced Uncharted so it would be the bundle of choice this November and Microsoft did the same with Gears. Presumably both companies are hoping that this strategy will pay off long term in increased sales for Uncharted 4 and Gears 4. Tomb Raider was suppose to move consoles. In retrospect, MS should have never touched it.
