360 should be under 0.5m and One should be under 1m. So yes, anything above 1.5m will be very good and I'll be shocked.

(cue overshipments)
About the position on Amazon, supposedly they are going to receive new shipment of the base SKU this Friday.
They got a (probablty small) allocation yesterday, and this morning it showed "1 available" when I checked. Obviously it's gone now.
Funny thing is, the SKU of 1 console + Free TLOU is still available, but you have to lick on a tab to get to it . I guess it's too complicated/ hidden for the average buyer?
On the (provisional) monthly April chart, the PS4 SKU is still quite a bit ahead but falling due to being sold out for the past week or so (for the main SKU):
#28: PS4
#45: XB1 MCC bundle
#54: XB1 ACU Bundle
I doubt all those countries would make up 6_ million thought so It's probably that NA is higher than 2.2 if anything.
You can't really make assumptions based on the results of the hourly charts.
As you suggested, waiting for the monthly charts to update is a wise idea.
Your math isn't that good buddy.
2.2m+3.9m = 6.1m
10m-6.1m = 3.9m
Which means we know that outside USA/Japan we're looking at around 4 million+. Not 6 million as you said.
Or you forgot what you posted my good friend because you said north of 10 million.
But it's cool we'll just have to wait.
But that just talks about the average amount spent on developing a game, and doesn't really give any source for those estimates. If the average cost of developing a game has gone up, then I'd say that's indicative of the market's shift towards AAA-focused development, and largely abandoning the mid- and low-tier sub-markets. If GTA was the only game, then games would cost an "average" of $100M to develop. When everyone wants to be "the next GTA," then $100M will become the industry average. That doesn't mean that games are now harder to make than they used to be. It just means there's a trend towards providing tons of content. I also think the increase in multi-platform development last generation helped to increase "average" costs across all games fairly significantly.
During the PlayStation 2 console cycle, the average console game cost between $5 and $10 million to develop, a steep increase from the $800,000 to $1.7 million cost of developing for the original PlayStation. The average PlayStation 3 game, meanwhile, costs between $18.8 million and $28.2 million to develop
I wasn''t using decimals, I usually don't use them for estimates. So NA and Japan i saw as 5.So how does north of 10 million = 12 million exactly?
There is a reason I said 4 million +. The + means higher than.

Well first you have to do the tab thing for the Xbox one as well. Tha's why the Halo MCC never passed the ACU bundle until Amazon put it on the main page for a week (video game main page.)
Now, the issue with the rest of your post is last week, and I was looking through the threads, PS4 was falling but it was still ahead on Amazon, this was last week, and there were quite a few comments mentioning it. Only in the last part of the week did the PS4 actually go under both Sku's. BUT if you check last weeks amazon WEEKLY charts the PS4 is below both. This is also the point in time that Amaxon last updated the monthly chart (otherwise the Xbox One version of BF pre-orders would have charted and the PS4 version was in the bottom 90-100.
Now until Monday when the monthly charts update we won't know for sure, but a possible explanation is that the increases Xbox One is gaining (depending on SKU) is increasing More than what the PS4 has been gaining, but was only on top last week due to cumulative sales in the hourly charts.
Of course we won;t know until later.
How are you defining that? They're still working through stock from Christmas.Well I don't think they horrendously over shipped but I don't exactly see how they didn't supply more than they needed to.
Read what you're quoting. (emphasis mine)The averages were mine, as the numbers given in that article were a spread; I'll repost them again.
Given a spread of data is available, the narrowing range that is the result of the collapse of the mid-tier shouldn't need to be factored in when looking at historic development cost increases; the lowest budget titles and the highest budget titles all increase in cost proportionately, it doesn't actually matter that the top end budgets are double the low end budgets in any given generation.

Ps4 sku has been sold out on amazob bro, thats the only reason x1 is ahead.
You're putting too much stock on Amazon as it only represents 5% of the US's sales. PS4 has been outselling the XBO on bigger retailers online such as Gamestop, Target, Walmart, and Best Buy for most of the month.
Your on the wrong page for both. WM has a console page, ill post that one later with a PC.

This is target: http://www.target.com/tdir/p/electronics/-/N-5xtg6/Nao-0/Ns-bestselling
Really... that page looks like a total mess. Why would I trust the clearly messier URL over the one that is clearly more organized?
Your trying way to hard with this agenda. Well just have to wait till monthly updates on amazon for chart positions(not numbers.)

It has Wii U selling better than XB1.
Sorry, but the one with the agenda is you. That URL you provided is an utter clusterfuck of a page. I bet you were extremely surprised when I showed you that the PS4 is outselling the XBO on Target and Walmart.
It has Wii U selling better than XB1.
It has Wii U selling better than XB1.
Looks like a clean page with pictures on the left to me. I'll just let you go.
Your like are wrong btw, and WalMart has a console page which ill post when I get to a PC.
Have a nice day.
As Chobel pointed out, the Wii U is outselling the XBO if we go by your page. That draws a huge red flag. Whatever page you post for Walmart will likely be the same thing.
To be fair, the Wii U outsells the Xbox One in your link also.

yeah, got no idea what kind of page that is.
Ok, and? It's the actual best sellers page for target regardless.
To be fair, the Wii U outsells the Xbox One in your link also.
LOL
just stick to Amazon charts for your online searches guys
Because listings don't change. Amazing the effort you put in. Oops forgot, have a nice dayWell, what makes more sense? The Wii U outselling both the PS4 & XBO or the Wii U outselling the XBO, but not the PS4?
Because listings don't change. Amazing the effort you put in. Oops forgot, have a nice day
So you really expect us to believe the Wii U is selling better than the xbox one?
I'd say that puts serious doubt on if that page is ordered like you believe it is.
Or, alternatively, Wii U just suddenly managed to get a whole bunch of sales out of nowhere.
How can the Ps4 be out os stock in amazon for so long? What a mess.
Oh, it didn't meant that I think his link is better, I just found the whole situation funny.
Wow man you are on a mission in this and the xbox shipment thread, I think you are a little panic'd. Also quite rude to folk here.
We've gone from reading too much into Amazon charts we barely understand to reading Target and Walmart charts we don't understand at all.
Zhuge pls, save us.
Keep trolling. I'll just leave you by yourself to do that.
