Like I said, it was just wishful thinking. I never expect a Square sequel to Super Mario RPG.the year 20XX said:This happens every time. As soon as something we want comes out on VC, the Nintendo community immediately moves on to screaming about a new game. MARIO 3 NOW OR DIE NINTENDO, SUPER METROID NOW!!!! SMRPG NOW!!!!!! etc. Can't we have a break before we start getting indignant about something that absolutely isn't happening? There's still Earthbound to whine about.
Are you playing on an HDTV? I can't play Baseball Stars 2 properly on an HD screen. It's either invisible (you hear sound and the game is running, but you can't see it unless you hit the home button), or it's squished in the top half of the screen.Dash Kappei said:Well, I'm pissed and I'm really questiong if bailing out of VC already, I wasted 900 points for SamShodown2, fucking borders and game's slow as fuck. Really really slow.
Damn I'm pissed, I would've been better off buying the Anthology if it wasn't that I was interested only in SSII and I really like having the games always at hand.
I downloaded more then a few days ago but didn't play it till tonight.
Damn, we should have demos available or at least proper direct feed videos or something... Nintendo.
I don't get it though, Ninja Commando seems fine (other than thay AWFUL screen tearing which to this day I dunno if it's an emulation problem, a problem with my download or the original was exactly the same way) and I don't have a single website in my bookmarks (this is crazy really) taking every damn VC game out there and giving proper informations about the PAL version, seriosuly vc-reviews should wake the fuck up because I rember those guys doing some kind of PAL reports before but not anymore.
Damn I'm pissed.

I was seriously freaked out for a second there. I knew those were already released, but all I could think was "WHERE'S YS?! WHERE'S SUPER MARIO RPG?!" I don't expect Nintendo to release both tomorrow, but neither would make me explode.Dragona Akehi said:Fake. That's August 27, 2007.

highspeeddub said:Yeah I'm disappointed with SS2 too. The slowdown and borders don't bother me as much as they should, it's the gameplay that gets me down. I'd never really sat down and played a SNK fighter before, I'm not impressed. If SS2 is one of the better SNK fighters then I don't know what the fuss was about. Ok, I admit, playing on a wii-mote isn't helping things but the gameplay just isn't anything special.

I had 1700 points before I bought SS2, now I have 800 points. Ooops, I could have bought SMRPG but for some reason that's 900 points.
LiveFromKyoto said:And even if there's a title you want that's VC only right now, odds are there'll be an SNK Arcade Classics Volume 2 down the road with most of them. SNK is the king of rereleases.

no way. Ys and SamSho2.... I think most would universally agree that either of those are as good as SMRPG in their respective genres.Segata Sanshiro said:I sure hope people don't take their Mario RPG rage out on poor Ys.
But I think they will.
And that would be?Shard said:So does this mean we finally get the original thread title back?

I made a link to it long ago. I can't be sure it was the original title, but Ultimate Awesome Wii Virtual Console Discussion.crowphoenix said:I've... forgotten it now. :lol
