Developers will need to take this into account. Ideally you would need to focus on one screen only while playing, occasionally switching to the other screen to check/change stuff.seismologist said:The other thing I noticed while playing the DS is it takes alot more focus to play than normal games.
Initially thought 2 screens would make things more intuitive but I dont think it does.
It takes some serious gaming skills to keep up with action going on on both screens.
Any news about a tentative PAL date?
I will take rampant speculation!

Touch screen control is intuitive and a godsend.
The system rocks.
Face buttons are too small.
seismologist said:I think playing the hunters demo sold me on getting Asphalt GT as one of my launch titles. I love the ultra smooth framerate.
60fps racing game with action going on on both screens is gonna be pretty sweet.
Now my launch lineup will be
Asphalt GT
Feel the Magic
Super Mario
That should be a nice variety.

started shipping my GameCube. O well just 21 nights to try my best to go to sleep.
I'll porbably go to hell for saying this but i wish my neighbours came home from
Florida just a week earlier. Damn it sucks to live in Europe.
Hope they don't let there 2 year old granddaughter play with my DS.
*bam*
' was this screen all black and cracked when we bought it? "
:lol
JasoNsider said:I don't want to tell you what to buy, but from what I played, I would seriously save some of that cash and put it towards Mr. Driller. I've said it a lot recently, but it needs to be said again: people need to look past the graphics in Urban Asphalt GT. Of all the games I played, it's the one I liked the least (to be fair, I didn't get a chance to try Sprung though.)

They also had Spider-Man 2 and Mario 64 but said that Mario 64 was street-dated so it couldn't be sold until the 21.
This was the same Game Crazy who said they would sell the systems as soon as they got them too. Bastards, must've heard back from corporate or something.
you know that hunters is just a demo, right? :\Kuroyume said:I played Hunters today and I wasn't pleased with it. The game looks pretty good but it doesn't feel like it's worth owning; it feels like a crappy game you would play on Newgrounds. The DS is tiny and nice which is great. The interface looks like shit. Pictochat is pretty cool.

Xellos said:Yeah, the demo does a good job of showing DS's 3D and the touch screen, but it's not fun at all. If Nintendo's smart they'll replace it with SM64DS or Wario Ware ASAP.
Soul4ger said:Have you played it multiplayer yet? Even with just two people, it's a lot of fun. And, I don't know if anyone realized it or not, but there is a combo system to shooting, based on your accuracy. Competing for high scores on the training levels is rather cool, too. There's more to it than just running around and shooting, though it doesn't much go beyond that. I think it's fun.
Soul4ger said:Hey, bune duggy, can we get a picture of the pack of the Feel the Magic box, and some of the inside of the instructions?
