4. Coming off the floor against the Lakers a decade later, with kidneys secretly failing as he chased Kobe Bryant, quiet and looking absolutely drained.

5. The first game back after the transplant operation. Who thought Noel Elliott's kidney could dunk like that?

6. Taco Cabana spokesman.

7. Taco Cabana-linked nicknames. Early in his career, didn't Soft Taco fit?

8. Soft heart, too. When a San Antonio newspaper went under in the '90s during a Spurs road trip, only one player called the room of the newly unemployed beat reporter to offer his condolences.

9. Almost a Rocket? The failed exam was the first sign his kidneys worked in mysterious ways.

10. The side-spin rotation on his jumper. Had he cured that, he might have been more than merely the Spur with the most 3-pointers in franchise history.

Sean Elliott absolutely rocked...and for far more then the shot against Portland. Very effective player, and seemingly an excellent guy.

Unhappy couple: The stories about Doug Christie and his wife never really get old.

On Thursday, Christie, unhappy with his reduced role since being traded from Sacramento to Orlando, pouted and called in sick to Thursday's practice.

But leave it to Jackie Christie to step in and make the situation much worse.

"Doug is distraught," Jackie told The Sacramento Bee. "He's still not over the trade, and it's not even the basketball part of it. ... We have a farewell video that the Kings gave us before we left, and I'll find him sitting there watching it, and he gets all choked up. I'll tell him, 'Doug, you have to stop.' "

Really, that reality show these two are planning can't come out soon enough.

And the Kings with a big surprising win. Brian Skinner has been playing the best after the trade.
 
I don't understand the Jazz this year. How the hell can a team that loses to the hornets twice this year do so well against good teams like the spurs despite being so injury ridden. Yeesh. And Manu Ginobli is incredible. His offensive game is like Kirilenko's defensive game, just really chaotic and unpredictable but really helps the team out.
 
Manu puts the game away with 31 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists.

Tim's sprain is Grade 1, the least serious. He'll probably be day-to-day. Thank God.

No, the Pacers just stink right now. When JO was suspended, Tinsley wasn't hurt. He is the catalyst of this team and they settle for too many jumpers when he's out...

Kobe's FG% is much higher when he doesn't settle on retarded 3 point shots. I know you disagree with me on this, but I always thought he could be twice as good if he improved his shot selection.
 
Can Kobe do the unthinkable and actually make two more FG's so that he'll have played a great game AND made more FG's than FT's for once in his life? Stay tuned... :D
