You know Society, They'll want our fresh water badly! :lol

what was with the awkward pause before his joke? :lol fuck it, FOUR MORE YEARS!! Our country may go down the shitter, but it'll be HILAROUS!

I thought the "need some wood" comment was more awkward than anything else.

I understand what Kerry was getting at there, but he didn't articulate it which left the door wide open for Bush to make him look like an ass.

He could just have been going by the population ratios. About 150 people there, and 3 qualify, that’s about right.
Maybe that's what he should have said, but what he said was the he looked around the room and saw three people that might make that much.

:lol Bush starts writing when Kerry namedrops Michael J. Fox.

**note to self: Remember to tivo Family Ties on Nick at Night...**
"Micheal J Fox is a victim of those unsafe Canadian drugs"

this may be a little OT, but what is up with those yellow wrist bands?

They support cancer patients, and I guess they look real nice. My brother owns one and I wish I owned my own.

Woot? How can eliminating the under God reference be a personal decision?

Hehe, go Kerry! Bush owned on the supreme court judge Q?

Sorry Mr. Bush, the Constitution does explicitly says slavery is OK (or did, at least.)
Hush, you! The President doesn't need to know the Constitution! That's what liberal judges do.

Kerry's name dropping is REALLY annoying. He can drop all the names he wants but that doesn't explain HOW he might do anything.

And Bush really shouldn't try any more jokes.

And Bush doesn't come off too confident with regard to that adult stem cell research. I think he knows that's rather pointless.

No! Another joke from Bush.

(all these responses are staggered over time since my connection is on the fritz)

So... George W. Bush wouldn't appoint a justice who would restore slavery. That's good to know. I'm totally relieved.

Both of these guys are talking platitudes on the court issue, but at least Kerry's platitudes are vaguely coherent.

Strict constructionist != supports slavery

The Constitution has an amendment process. That's how we're supposed to fix its flaws, not by deciding what to accept and what to ignore.

I think Bush's response was meant to clear that up; didn't do a very good job

Want to know how to reduce abortions Bush? How about more birth control, more money in education to prevent rampant pregnancies in the first place asshole.
