This is the longest consecutive string of posts about punting every seen on the OT side of a video game message board. Book it.

Tamanon, was Hanson the dumb bastard who hacked his leg all the way to the bone?

The predators are going to have a field day if they know Chris Hanson's in Hawaii..:lol

Seriously though, thats pretty ridiculous. We should start taking bets on the over/under of how many patriots make the pro bowl.

I almost missed punting talk!

People should vote for Scifres for two obvious reasons: (1) he is the best punter in football and (2) he has the coolest name ever to be given a punter. Sounds like a combination between Scythe and Suffers.

Wow...

Bill Simmons, "If you were making a list of quarterbacks you'd want for the next five years, after Brady and Manning, the next two guys would be Romo and "Ben" in some order, and I have absolutely no idea who'd be fifth. Derek Anderson? Carson Palmer? Drew Brees? The only thing we know for sure is that it's definitely NOT Alex Smith."

That's cold.

What is this... trickle down theory?

rash of injuries forcing normally full time special teamers to play more defensive snaps.

In a show of how awesome Pro Bowl voting is. Chris Hanson, punter for the Patriots is leading the pro bowl punter votes......and he is currently THIRTY-SIXTH in punting.:lol

From Ask Vic:

Vic said:
I saw on Thursday results of fan voting to date and I was horrified by what I saw. Let me be the first to congratulate the fans on an absolutely shameful performance. If this is the way it’s going to be, then either the fans have to be stripped of their vote or the Pro Bowl must be stricken from consideration when electing players to the Hall of Fame.

You're not 'Jill from Jacksonville', are you? :P

Fantasy Q.

Willie Parker, Reggie Bush, and Brandon Jacobs are my RBs.

Terrell Owens, Hines Ward, and Andre Johnson are my WRs.

2 RB slots, 2 WR slots, and one WR/RB.

Bush and Owens have to start. What do I do!

Go with Andre Johnson since his going against the Saints secondary.

Don't go with Brandon Jacobs because his going to get crushed by the Lions defense this Sunday.

wow i didnt realize this, but if the rams win sunday, that will be their 500th win in franchise history.

what makes it even better is that we're playing the 9ers, that would be so great to get it against them of all teams. also, ike bruce can move into 6th place all time in recieving yards sunday.

Parker Jacobs and Ward..... Pitt vs Jets secondary ... seriously. Johnson and Schaub both coming off injuries.

Another Fantasy question. Trade deadline passed Friday in my league, yet I have two outstanding trades that were accepted Tuesday still not put through by the commish, will those go through or did the Commish fuck me?

Does your league give points per reception? Wait, nevermind. The correct answer regardless is Johnson, Ward and of course Jacobs.

The thing with Parker and Jacobs is that they tend to get vultured near the goal line. Even with that said, I think the best choice is Bush and Parker with Ward and Johnson.

Sweet, scored some tics from a Jets season ticket holder for tomorrow's game. 30 yard line, lower level....will be making the 2 hour trek to the jersey swamp with my terrible towel, baby.

Hey sweet, enjoy Giants Stadium... but boy do I ever hope you have a parking pass and are prepared for some traffic. :lol

Yeah, my buddy heard about the parking mess. He's getting the tickets from a co-worker but isn't sure about the pass. But, the good thing is it's a 4pm game, so we can get out there early enough. Will probably take us forever to get out at the end of the game though.

Nah... I figure the Jets fans will be long gone..... :lol

Prediction Record through Week 10: 105-39 ... that's good enough for 2nd overall over on ESPN, but I somehow don't see myself surviving another seven weeks unscathed.

Cowboy fans stuffing the Pro Bowl ballots: el link

Any Gaf members guilty?

That's hardly stuffing the ballot, the Cowboys are among the NFL's most popular teams and this year they're the best team in the NFC. Looking at offensive skill positions alone, I'd put Romo Barber Witten and Owens in right now, and I hate the Cowboys.

Mayne Event with Mojo Drew.

He was standing on a bench.:lol

"You know if you changed your first name to Jones-Drew instead of your last name, you'd be J.D. Drew"

"Well...then I'd probably miss a lot of games with cuts and bruises"

So, which QB would you start? Drew Brees, who is playing Houstan. Or Derek Anderson, who is playing Baltimore. I'm currently leaning towards Brees, because of the competition.

Derek Anderson.

He's been the more consistend QB, plus the pass defense is the only bad part of the Baltimore defense.

Plus, he'll get more shots with short fields.:P

The Dolphins are starting Beck in Philly? Where the fans booed Santa Claus? >_<

it is the perfect set up.

rookie QB. starting RB out. top WR traded.

playing in philly. this is the game everyone will talk about next season when they mention beck and his begining.

Dammit, I'm stuck with a glut of running backs. I forgot to make a trade this week and now I have to choose between Bush, Young, and Chatman. Bush is playing the poorest defense, but he's getting no touches. Young and Chatman are both facing average to good run defenses.

Why is Bay Area Fox showing the Packers game instead of the Lions games? I'm utterly baffled by this decision. I'm hoping the Packers run it up early so we can switch over to a much better contest.

EDIT - Ok, I liked Frank's Jay Leno impression. And the fake-Kevin laughing. Good stuff.
