since you two are the lone "under 4 stars" prestige guys i did put some good teams in your conference. IF you wanted to use texas or oklahoma or TA&M feel free to do so.

ive solved the XXXXXX named guys.

Their real last name is considered profanity. i have a LB named Ross Cumming and it blocks out the last name. I switched it to Kumming and that worked

But he did put on Duron Carter, WR transfer Ohio state, via JUCO.

also, my apologies in advance if you only have 5 or 6 human games in season 1. i was paranoid about some conferences ending up without a title game so i kept the team #'s high. well, you can't play EVERY team in your conference if you have 10 teams in there so some of you won't be playing each other even though you're in conference.

the only 2 that i've run into like that are crow vs. rors and myself vs. dm, but i haven't gone through everything yet. doesn't look like i can adjust the teams right now and fix it, so i'll have to do it after season 1. use the extra CPU game to get those recruits!

i think i faced every human or rivalry game at their house that year. all my recruits had to come watch me trounce Washington State.

as i was reading this post i was thinking "are you fucking kidding me? you have a probowl team and you're complaining about playing an away game without HFA on? oh boo hoo you're going to miss out on another 5* recruit wah wah wah"

but then i read whatever it was you did to CB3 (it was actually DM)

he got me twice when he didnt give me enough Pac-10 games so i couldnt win the conference.

the schedule is finally done. fucking seems like it took forever.... i dont remember it being that difficult last year but oh well. most people have 5 human games, some 6, only rors has 4 and there was no way around it. he only had 3 slots for non conference games. this should be corrected in season 2 forward as i will reduce the number of teams in our human conferences by a couple, then that won't be an issue. he WOULD have had 5 games if it had matched him up properly with the other 2 human opponents in the conference but what can we do now!

as far as home and away, i believe everyone has 6 and 6. if you have more than 6 home games consider yourself lucky! but no one has less than 6 :D

i will give it until tomorrow morning incase you guys want to redshirt any of your people. but tomorrow morning its time to advance to the regular season

Can I get some recruiting tips in here. A lot of 5 star players are only around 20 to 30 percent interest for Wisconsin (no surprise)....is it even worth trying to pursue these guys during the season?

Also, do we have a league web page online?

Sometimes I look at it like this:

If you're the only human recruiter going after this guy, and you REALLY want him just by looking at his basic stats, then you can get him but you have to pursue him pretty hard for the first few weeks. Then after a bit of time you'll gauge if he's taking you seriously

But if there's a bunch of human players in front of you and he's 1) not from your pipeline state or 2) you know some other human is going after him, then it's not worth it. unless you have an extra hour and you just wanna troll the other people recruiting him

I for one just want to see some insta-commits!

If you're in their top 10 then go for it, if not, it's usually not worth it. Every year I try to take one long shot guy, that way I don't spend too much recruiting time on people I'm not likely to get.

That 2nd half was bullshit! I would just drop back for 1 second and already 2 dudes would always come firing up the middle so fast that I never get a chance to react!

There will be a website. Eventually.

Recruit players that have you in the top 5 if you can. Obviously try and get players that have you #1 if you can.

Also, decide if you want to go after a full class from the get go, or a smaller class. Fewer people you go after, the more individual time you can spend on them.

Take a look at your roster, see what areas you will have a deficiency in, not just at the moment, but for at least the next 2 years. Don't want to be caught with 2 HBs in year 3.

p.s. i see why i had trouble with rors scheduling. he is actually in Big XII "Div B". could have swore i had texas A&M in Div A but the game automatically moves teams when there are split divisions in the conference. I must have seen texas A&M, moved Illinois in, and then it must have automatically moved Texas A&M out. my bad rors!

hopefully i can edit the conferences after the season ends again. does anyone know about that? it also still sucks that i'm not playing DM this season. i want to move rors to Division A and then delete a team from the pac 12 so that its a guarantee i play dm every year going forward

Awesome, game crashed right before going back to the OD lobby. The same "You've been disconnected" freeze that would randomly happen in NCAA 11.

any suggestions going forward in regards to time, sliders needed, etc. just post.

i'm not going to do anything with sliders until we have something tangible. everything is on default right now.

as far as quarters, i'm willing to go down to 6 minutes if that's what everyone wants. me and DM played 6 minutes and had a combined 200 yards of offense.... although i think we could have played 15 minute quarters and it wouldn't have gotten much higher.

forgot to complain about that fumble early DM. well, "pitch fumble". dont ever press LT + RT together! i'm surprised that is the first time it's happened to me because i rest my left finger on the left trigger naturally and then when you're using speed burst it would be so easy to just press down a little.... oh well

there's only 11 other people in the league. i can only do so much before you are matched up with a tough opponent! but that is part of the fun!

don't worry, you have nebraska on your schedule which is a gimme game ;)
