GG, buddy! Man, passing is so tough in this game.

Yea, gg. Unfortunately very laggy, I guess because we're coast-to-coast? I should've taken the points in the beginning of the 4th, but still would've come down to having to drive under 2 mins chasing 5 pts. Something like 1-5 redzone, ugh..

Yeah, if you're PST then most likely. I'm about as far east as you can get.

alright its going now but i got a new message i never had in years previous. it says NCAA is experiencing heavy traffic and that i'm 49th in line on the que to have it advanced or something?

oh well, it's in process so i'll periodically click over to see if it went through and ill post when it does!

Any tips on not getting sacked so damn much?

I mean, I get NCAA every year. So, I'm used to the pass rush. It's just that I seem to be getting sacked more than usual. I created a custom playbook and I'm pretty much comfortable with it.

So what do you guys do? Use Shotgun a bunch? Quick slants? Play-action has never worked all that good in NCAA.

PA works a lot better if you setup the play.

I just logged in on the website and got this

"You have been removed as a member of FrenchMovOD1. You will no longer have any access to that dynasty or the team you controlled."

True. I run the ball a good amount. So setting up the PA is not really a problem. I just don't think it's as effective as it should be.

Maybe I'm still adjusting to 12's defense, like I do with every game. I thought after about 9 games, I'd be adjusted by now, but I'm still getting worked. :lol

A few things...

I find that leaving the TE in to block is a necessary evil in this game as the rush is quick to get to the QB. Also, it is a must to set up the play-action with some running plays from the same formation this year. It seems to help in not getting the QB sacked and also is much more likely to result in a completion if you wait until the game actually tells you the PA is setup.

Overall, I have found that running the ball a great amount and passing occassionally is working best for me. I am using Houston, a team that passes like 65% of the time in real life, but I can't do it in the game. The secondary is just that much better this year.

Adding to this, more than previous years, you must try to stay in the pocket area. If you keep backing your qb up the DEs will just go around the tackles to get to you instead of having to fight through them.

Loving the improvements they have made with this year's version (PS3). However, newsflash, playing randoms online is still an exercise in extreme annoyance. I wish I could filter out people who have a negative sportsmanship rating for going for it on EVERY 4th down!

Smokey wasnt understanding that concept when i was trying to coach him up against FMT. He was dropping back like a Random using the Falcons in Madden 05

Yeah I got burned on manual safety. My defense held up fairly well though as the only thing I really gave up were a couple big plays. That punk James just sliding around my defense at times. I had him wrapped up most all game except for two plays where he breaks free and scores two long TDs.

I'm having some bad karma too to start this season. I get the ball on kickoff against FMT and the very first play of the game my RB gets hit, he fumbles and it is returned 6 points for a TD. Against DM I set up a sweet PA play that might have been a TD pass to put me up 7 to 0 to start the game. TE wide open and I hit the A button and nothing happens. Finally my QB throws the ball late and my TE catches it out of bounds. On the next pass I throw an INT. Next DM drive I stop him and he punts. Goes sky high I switch on my returner and hit Y. In fact I start jamming on Y because he won't call a fair catch. He doesn't, gets crushed, and I fumble the ball away in scoring territory. What have I done to upset the NCAA gods?!

gg. The change to my freshman QB worked. He did sooooo much better and soooo much worse than Basuerman. Miller has Pryor speed, but also his accuracy and Adrian peterson fumbling.

9 sacks wasted. 6 turnovers :/ I could only imagine if HFA was on.

league vanced! play your week 3 games and do your recruiting!

p.s. crow you can do gods work by destroying the #1 team in the nation.... a CPU team!
Don't get your hopes up. I'm still figuring out the game and this year the cpu actually puts up a fight.

gg dcx. i seemed to be in control and then those 2 ints got me out of my groove. i felt the game turned on your very risky decision down 7 and in fg range to go for that 4th and 1. i know why you would do it but you had all the momentum, should've just taken the 3 and played solid D.

once your running qb went out you were pretty much done. i had some problems containing him on the edges for a bit, had to change up my scheme to cut that shit out!

Well, i did gamble. I settled for two FGs and was down 20-6, i knew in a fourth and inches i should have had enough push to get that first down and at that point i didn't think i could be this close offensively in the fourth, not with your running game.

Alas it wasn't to be. I was proud i did hold up when you saw me on an island at CB. Your eyes lit up and i secured a career high TWO user picks :) Then i saw i was 0-3, 0-3 VS users and heading down the path of losing a star lol

Fuck you Pryor

Thanks, guys.

I definitely did better last night (still practicing against the CPU) by mainly just making sure I stayed in the pocket more. I thought I was already doing this, but it was a conscious act last night.

QUESTION FOR ALL: Which team has the best entrance (besides FSU)? Every year while I'm adjusting to the new game, I take my Noles on the road to different stadiums. And since the entrances/traditions are "THE" biggest addition to NCAA 12, I figure I might as well see the best ones. I've already played against Texas, USC, Miami, Colorado and UF.

Which ones are the best ones left?
