I hope he sucks! The guy I had in at rb today was only a freshman and did pretty decent. So I should get another good 2 years out of him I hope.

I hope he sucks! The guy I had in at rb today was only a freshman and did pretty decent. So I should get another good 2 years out of him I hope.
I'm trying to remember if I made the HB any promises. I have a sophomore ready to step up into the starting role next season. If I didn't I'm gonna red shirt him. I also have an 80 rated FB with high blocking and catch coming next year, hoping the combo can be good for the next 4 seasons.

I don't really care that it advanced, but if you say "League Advancing Saturday at 6PM PST" then it is pretty bull shit to advanced the league Saturday at noon PST. If the league advances Friday morning at 1am and then 24 hours later... if you're busy in that 24 hours (for instance, if you have a job), you're just out of luck.
At least stick to the time that you say... So if you say 9PM EST for Saturday night, which would have fit in fine when I said "I'll get my game in this afternoon..." don't then advance it an 8 hours ahead of time.

I posted from my phone being 2 hours from home shopping for furniture. I probably would have lost to uf if I played, but it's still bogus. 24 hours is not enough time, and I don't even know what the rush is... Like.. Does your e penis get smaller if the other league gets 1 or 2 weeks ahead?
Does that post say CB3? Take it up with him if you have issue with that.
If you were two hours from being home, say that. Dont say soon. I would have waited if you posted an estimated time when you were gonna play.
You are right, 24 hours isnt always enough time to play. I completely understand. But atleast be aware of the rate at which we progress. This is nothing new. If you are 24 hours from an advance, assume you are the last game. Even a quick check of this thread will give you a pretty good idea of where we are at. If you arent ATLEAST keeping us posted on where your at with your game (Soon doesn't count) i dunno what else to say.
P.S The other league sims games more than us!

When the original proposed time of advancing the week is 9pm EST, and if I say "soon" in the morning, then I'm assuming that it means "before 9PM EST." Further, I even posted "soon" while driving to Ikea so that you could see, "oh, he did not forget about this week, he's still got it on his mind." Now, in truth, I really don't care about advancing, even if I lost the game to Florida in the sim, I wouldn't loose sleep over it.
You may not have made FMT's post, but you took over advancing responsibility for this week/future weeks, whatever it is, so if you have the where-with-all to accept responsibility for advancing the week, then you also have the where-with-all to be able to read the same posts that I do.
And, just to be clear here -- Unlike Storybook, I actually do not have a life. I just have more of a life than you sexless virgins!!

cb and I discussed it and decided to vance. i think there is a difference in these two situations:
situation 1 - everyone is done except for 1 or 2 guys who only have to do recruiting or CPU games and have not posted when they plan to do so

This game man, this game. Can't wait for Madden, I feel completely helpless on the defensive side of the ball, all I see is cpu making plays. No clue why Tiburon decided to rip all of the playmaking ability from manual D.

It's not like FSU's dline gave me much chance running the ball. Had probably 6 goaline carries by a 97 rated back (who has been a shadow of last years version), came away with 0 yards.
Game stuttered the entire game, and I'm fortunate that my TE did better that his last games 4 drops.
And it's not THAT rare. But I go on streaks, usually when I play #1,2 & 3 in a row.

Oh, I wasn't even talking about him. I was saying the only time I see any plays from my D is the cpu, he threw a pass to his TE late and I was running right beside him, I hit Y as the ball gets there and my guy does nothing, doesn't even make a swat animation. It's extremely frustrating...
I could play DL, but I might as well just quit the game if it comes to that, boring.
I just played a game of the Madden demo to make sure, and it's really obvious how much better the momentum is handled on the defensive side, it doesn't feel like last year, but you can still make plays pretty easily. I just feel lucky if I do anything in NCAA this year.
that happened twice when I took control of an LB and a CB. Button press didn't register, so stuck with DL for everything. Lag made it impossible to do anything manual on my end, offense or defense. Couldn't run behind the line, on 2 times I get yardage with QB runs, no button presses for slide registered, resulting in a fumble and a QB tackle (which feels like a miracle to not end with a fumble or injury)

Are you EST? I get up super early, like 6am EST, so if you're free in the morning let me know. I'll be free up until like 2pm, then, I suspect, I will be away for a while. The gal has been mad at me lately because I tell her she can't move in till next year, which she has accepted, but she says wild shit like "Well, if I cant move in till next year, then we have to have out all day on Sunday..." It's a miracle that I'm not busy tonight with her.
So she'll be over from, say, mid-afternoon till late afternoon EST... and then she'll peace out.
So I'll be ready, let's say, anytime in the morning, and then anytime in the late evening EST... so 6am - 1pm EST; then 7pm EST to 10pm EST.

gg sokanish. Played shitty, LAttimore getting hurt on the first play of the game, my #1 WR getting hurt on the second play, and then my QB being knocked out till the 4th quarter set the tone. But I couldn't get you off the field on 3rd downs.
My defense played better than I did.
I also had sex during the 3rd / 4th quarter.
