Was this ever announced for 360?
Sometime after E3, Moon Studios announced on the game website that an Xbox 360 version of "Ori and the Blind Forest" was in development and planned for release sometime in early 2015.[14] In November 2014, Moon Studios updated the status of the game and announced plans to push back the launch of the title into "early 2015" for Xbox One and PC, but no further mention of the Xbox 360 version was made at the time.[15] Asked to clarify the status of the Xbox 360 edition, Moon Studios confirmed it was still in development and would be released later in 2015.[16]
Just curious... Have you (or any members of the team) played BIT.TRIP BEAT? Thoughts on 1.11 (Odyssey) if so?Thanks
We made these sequences as a way of testing the players abilities as a sort of climax to an area. All things said and done, I think that choice was fairly divisive - some people tell us that they absolutely loved them, some people were so angry with us that they stopped playing Ori at that point... It's supposed to pack a punch in terms of challenge, but it's definitely a little sad to see that some people couldn't get over the little bump in difficulty.
I see it as a learning process - I'm using GAF and your guys feedback to understand what you liked / didn't like and that informs my thinking on this kinda stuff. We're currently already working on new projects and hopefully we'll deliver better and better stuff with every single game, so I really appreciate the response and the feedback we're getting, thanks a lot![]()
I know, I saw the threadA lot of people loved them, but also a lot of people found them infuriating... In the end though, if you managed to do it, it felt like beating a boss and that was our goal!

Still set to launch at midnight though right? But strange it's not up for preload.
There's a first batch of Merch available on our store here:

There's more coming! If you guys have more suggestions or stuff you'd wanna see, feel free to shoot us a mail at feedback @ moongamestudios.com
And we hear you on the physical release - It's something we're trying to figure out with Microsoft. We're honestly not sure if / when it's going to happen, but we're definitely listening and we're trying to make sure MS does too
We're all really proud of the Definitive Edition - Playing it on one of those sweet 21:9 monitors is just really cool and due to the delay, we also had some more time to optimize the hell out of it. I've been recently playing through it on a Surface Pro 4 and it works just fine now even if you don't have a dedicated GPU in your machine.
YAY! I know what I'm [re]playing the next week!
Also, I'm curious. It says $5 as if all versions are $5 - even non-upgrades. Is that true? Is the full game only $5?
The escape sequences were the best! It literally was only due to lack of skill that you would die. Re spawning super fast basically solves the issue of having to restarting the sequence. You can just keep going.
Think I'll have to dust off the X1 for this, not the kind of game I particularly want to play sitting at a desk

Also the 75% off for existing owners is only available for a month?
Nice.
Bought for 5 (i already had the original, but was waiting for this to actually play it).
Feels like forever.
Bought on Steam!
I wish there was some new trading cards too.![]()
Was the original release FPS capped? I didn't think it was. This seems capped at 60 FPS.
You can turn Vsync on and off in the options.
What's with the mixed reviews for the definitive edition on steam already?! Dafuq
Are 21:9 resolutions supported in the definite edition?

Entitled Chinese players downvoting the game because it does not have Chinese language support while the original had. Don't worry it will come back up.
Yup. We saw a lot of people wanting 21:9 support (and hated that people used a crazy hack to get that...), so we went through the hell of updating every level in the game (and every cinematic) to support 21:9... Don't say we don't love you!
Ori and the Blind Forest DE looks marvelous on these super nice 21:9 monitors now!![]()

That is awesome. I am seriously in awe of the dedication here. Time to play through the game again I guess.
ThanksWe were hoping some people would notice the effort we put in to support that feature. Not even GTAV and other games fully support 21:9 (mostly you see black bars during cutscenes), but that wasn't good enough for us, since we hate black bars

I've got an i7-4710MQ @ 2.50GHz with 8GB RAM and a GeForce GTX 870M, which seems more than enough compared to the recommended system requirements.
I'm getting 20FPS max at 1080p. Dropping the resolution to 720 gives me about 34 FPS.
What's going on? D:
