Symmetra
Sentry Turret
[CONSOLE] Damage per second increased from 21 to 25.5

Developer Comments: Back in July, the damage per second from Symmetra's turrets was reduced by 30 percent. We've been keeping an eye on her over the past few months and decided to restore about 15 percent of that damage. On PC, her damage is still 30.

Torbjörn
Rivet Gun
Ammo is now loaded earlier in the reload animation
Build Turret
[CONSOLE] Damage increased from 10 to 12

Developer Comments: Like Symmetra, the damage from Torbjörn's turrets was also reduced by 30 percent in July. After monitoring his effectiveness, we've decided to give his turret a small boost, restoring about 15 percent of the damage. By contrast, the damage from Torbjörn's turret on PC is still 14.

Hilarious to see this after console players were JUST crying a few pages ago about how Blizz doesn't balance for console separately.

But yah, nanobastion meta has arrived boys. Lets embrace it.

Configuration: Recon

- Bullet spread decreased by 25%

- Magazine size increased from 20 to 25

Now he's just Soldier 76 with 100 more HP.

Less mobility, shittier hit box and cant heal and damage at same time.

But Bastion has best DPS ult in game and has ironclad...

Yay, Symm and Torb get a slight buff. Seriously, playing Symm on PC is so much better because her turrets do so much more damage.

So I'm guessing Ironclad is going to be one of those things like the increase of Soldier 76's damage output where if they just put it a notch lower it would be way more acceptable than what we're actually getting.

He has no mobility (which is important for offensive classes), he's a larger target, and his rate of fire is 20% lower than Soldier (which means his damage is significantly lower.)

His turret form in Rein v. Rein matches will absolutely shred enemy shields. To the point where if you don't also have a Bastion, you're going to lose the shield war.

Not to mention he practically cannot be killed if nano ulted.

Kinda wish I had gotten the Blizzcon pass now for the skin. I really never thought Blizz would put Bastion back into the meta. Fuck.

Respawn Delay
When attackers outnumber defenders while taking a control point on Assault, Escort and Assault/Escort maps, the defenders’ respawn time will slowly increase until it hits a maximum value or the defense manages to gain the upper hand.

WE DID IT

Argh, my brain isn't braining right now. What does this mean?

So on any non KOTH map, defender respawns will start to delay as long as the attacking team has a numbers advantage. Basically encourages defending teams to get kills rather than stall or it's all over.

Its great to know Winston is near useless for the foreseeable future. Every game will have an enemy bastion.

I mean there are some shield tricks you can pull, but more often than not he will wreck you.

If the attacking team is takingpoint B and has more heroes than the defense on point, the defense respawn timer will keep increasing either until:

(a) It hits a maximum arbitrary value.
(b) The defense manages to have more heroes on B than the attack.

It will make it harder for the defense to respawn fast enough to counter the remaining attack heroes on B, making B more reasonable to take by the attack.

Looking straight at you, Anubis.

If you're referring to me, you'll notice that I already addressed this in my post. Furthermore, this is just a step back from a change they implemented more than 6 months ago, so it doesn't really count since Blizz has only balanced console-specific matters in this area and this area alone.

Ah, so no more Tracer stalling by porting around the point until team respawns. Gotcha. Thanks, I had a derp moment lol

You think a company as huge as Blizz doesn't watch game telemetry and match data to determine where console needs separate balancing? Your perception of reality is not more valid than Blizzard's data-supported decisions. Accept it.

Also I wasn't referring to you specifically, but just in general.

But this has always been the case?

Yah, but Bastion was not otherwise viable past that, and was easily countered. With Ironclad and his faster transform, he can viably hop into/out of Sentry much faster, and will still be a reliable DPS with his added healing + mobility buffs. Not to mention nanotank is going to be virtually invincible, with Ana still heavily in the meta.

NRG and friends. Harb and Ajax are most likely going to be on NRG though.

And about the new hero... I swear to god if they release another picture of Efi crossing something else out I'm gonna scream. Cause I just realized that could very well happen.

So no new hero? Kinda crazy that it was a 1.6GB for just balance changes and I'm assuming the PTR Numbani map tweaks.

Add in the CTF variations on the control point maps that also have additional rooms attached to them.
There wasn't gonna be a new hero on live anyway, they'd go to PTR first.

Didn't they say that they thought their ways of teasing Sombra was taken well? I'm not really surprised if they keep teasing this character on and on.

This is the ARG that never ends.
Yes it goes on and on, my friends!
Some people started seeing it not knowing what it was,
And they'll continue seeing it forever just because...

They've been wrong before.
