Partial photo of Switch 2 dock, uses new power connector

Nintendo must be very close to an official reveal.

I'm going to say January 20th.

I have no inside information and just pulled that date from my ass, but that's what I'm sticking with.

wtf are nintendo thinking

reveal the fucking thing.
Making a decision like that would be reactionary and bad for business. Product launches are meticulously planned well in advance. iPhone designs leak every year without fail, yet Apple sticks to its established announcement schedule.

60W fast charging is something you would think would make sense for a larger battery, but earlier leaks seem to indicate the battery is pretty small...

I am starting to think we might be seeing a much wider gap between handheld and docked mode this time.

Seems legit, I'll put together the expose OP and will feed followers to your SM handles.

Well, it's quite power-hungry 8 nm chip, so I expect that docked mode will rely more on additional power delivery.

Would be interesting to see the portable mode disparity.

Hmm everything is pointing to the dock being a bit more than it was before which is interesting. I wonder it it's all just for cooling or something else ?

To put in perspective, before I started working in the industry, a guy at TT leaked a button change on the Wii U controller, it cost Nintendo millions in marketing ready for a huge reveal, guy for years got sued to oblivion by Nintendo and from what I heard became homeless and was banned from industry permanently

Nintendo are being right twats by not just unveiling it now. I hope the whole thing does get leaked before they have a chance.

Nintendo is so fucking lazy they're letting Chinese factory workers reveal their own console for them.

My bold prediction: the Switch 2 will look like... the Switch. You can all start building that shrine to my genius now.

3amps 20v written there is indeed = 60w.

But this leaker isn't trustworthy. There have been no substantial or substantiated leaks yet. Which is to say: there've been no leaks.

Also, the output of this device is 15v, 2.8 amps which is 42W, meaning that the device is using 18W for something.

Why are we posting tweets, let alone making threads associated with that fucking circus freak :messenger_grimmacing_ :messenger_dizzy:

What's next, a Jim Sterling appreciation thread?

Leaked screw used in Nintendo Switch 2 Dock!!!

Extrapolated from the size of that screw I think we can confidently say that we will have closer to 6 tflops in docked mode. The threading on the screw pretty much guarantees full DLSS4 support.

It'd be great if all the games & performance increases are leaked before the Direct. 😂

Lol during the Direct someone is streaming themselves looking at a Switch 2 screen that is streaming the Direct.
