I played Perfect Dark 25 years ago and Goldeneye 3 years previous to that. Prior to PD and GE what console FPS's bested these games? Until Halo came along they where the best console shooters around.

Metroid prime is not an FPS in the traditional sense so im not sure why you would bring that up.

I'll give you GE 64 but not Perfect Dark 64. There was nothing influential with that game nor was the single player side of that game really good and I brought up Prime 4 due to your lame attempt at trying to be clever with how long the new Perfect Dark has been in development

The Initiative was formed in 2018 and all they have to show is a vertical slice that looked like target footage. So 7 years.

Still unsure what Prime 4 has to do with anything.

They were just being set up and didn't announce Perfect Dark reboot

The irony of 2017 wasn't that when Nintendo announced Prime 4. Perfect Dark Reboot want announced untill 2020.

i'm surprised the 007 game style didn't pop off more.

How like the james bond games and perfect dark that that objectives stuff on each map, and higher difficulty had more objectives and time trial.

instead we have the open world checklist chore style that every game series end up turning into
