Thanks for the responses. The length is kinda scaring me. RPGs I typically like are 30-50 hours max.
Also what is a dungeon? Like is there a comparison it to them in anything in Horizon Zero Dawn or The Witcher 3?
I;m thinking this game isn't for you if you don't know what it is and you are going in thinking HZD, Zelda or The WItcher.
It's nothing like those. Not even close.
(I'm basing this off P4G)
You basically go around to different locations via a menu around a city. Each day you can choose to do different stuff like study, go to class, practice sports, go to shops, hang out with different friends, go to a dungeon, etc. Once you decide on what activity you will be doing, time advances, so if you hang out with Friend B, you can't hang out with Friend A, and if you study, you can't practice sports. You usually get a night and day cycle where you can do different stuff. You also investigate real-world stuff that eventually leads to a meatverse, or the dungeon. In the past, these dungeons were randomized and very sparse. P5 is different, they aren't randomized. You usually have a week or two to complete the mission.
The whole point of the game is to build relationships with your friends so that you can get along better with them in the real world and fight better with them in the metaverse.
The Witcher or HZD, this is not.
