Glad someone is getting decent speeds, is that wired ?
It might be my og ps4 but whenever dva selfs destruct on dorada marketplace/square the framerate dips a bitYeah, though to be fair I jump from OW on PC to PS4 a lot and besides load times doesn't seem that much of a difference. If Pro can at least clean up the look of the game through AA and AF I'm good.
Sorry i should have said so edited the post, yes wired.
I thought 6mb a second download of stuff off psn was quite slow?

A splitter won't work. You need a switch; two switches if you want to use only one input on your TV.
You say that until you're constantly swapping cables....
Fair enough, I thought it would be wired. I'm giving up with my PS4 Pro on Wi-Fi, going to get a homeplug and going wired.
I tried speedtest.net via PS4 broweser and got only 16Mbps, and on the PS4 80Mbps.
I have 100Mbps. Fucking sucks, because I only get the 16Mbps. Connected via cable.
What's that?Check what is optimal MTU for your internet connection.
Blizzard decreased load times across the board (on all platforms) in this update, according to the patch notes.Apparently load times are faster on Overwatch (PS Pro version) as well.
Ratchet & Clank's main menu background is a pre-rendered video I think, with block artefacts. The HDR isn't quite right in Ratchet and clank for me. It's quite noticeable in the main menu where the sun is shining over the corner of the planet. There are noticeable artefacts in the sun as if it's a bit pixelated. I have found that it goes if I switch the TV to dynamic contrast.
PSN downloads are reported in MegaBytes not megabits per second and I think the number updates more than once a second.Just ran speedtest on the browser:
Only ever seen a max of 6mb a second when downloading though.
Edit: wired connection.
To those of you who replaced the Pro's HDD, was it a 5400 or 7200 RPM? Thinking of putting my 2tb in, but it's a 5400 RPM.
5400RPM
It is. We just don't know for what.
PS4 Pro Support is mentioned in the patch notes.
EDIT: Menus and overlays def look sharper than before... possibly UI in Native 4K? Game still looks the same to me from memory.
the controller's battery that came with this new one is definitely lasting longer than my old PSX style DS4.
Does anyone know if the Target 10% off that's going on this weekend will work with the PS4 Pro, and if so, will it overlap with the 10% wishlist coupon? If so, I think I'm going to go to Target this weekend and try and get them to give me a bit of a refund.
I can't handle swapping HDMI cables between VR and the HDR in Uncharted 4.
Did we decide on a switch that works? Anyone have that thread bookmarked?
I used a 7200 RPM and it's definitely noticable. To those of you who replaced the Pro's HDD, was it a 5400 or 7200 RPM? Thinking of putting my 2tb in, but it's a 5400 RPM.

My USB stick is too thick to fit in the front USB ports because of the slanted design. It's worked with every device I've ever put it in including the OG PS4 and PS4 Slim. Facepalm Sony.
I noticed this last night. On my 4K OLED, it makes text and edges a lot "crisper". It'd be great if they bumped up the internal resolution, but I'm happy enough with this.
TechGaf! I need an adult!
So I'm trying to make a backup of my current 2TB hard drive. I have the green, Seagate 2TB XB1 branded hard drive. Will this work? My ps4 currently says the usb device is not plugged in, but I'm guessing it's a formatting issue? I'm hoping so anyway.
Stick it in the back.
I know that, but it's a pain in the ass since I had to pull it forward in the entertainment center and go in the back after I set everything up. A rear USB port is generally useless to me.
Does anyone use the rear usb port for the gold headset dongle? I'll be looking to do that so I don't have it jutting out the front, but didn't know if there was any difference in quality or range (outside of the distance between the front and the back of the console) as I wasn't sure if any of it was directional dependent.
It works fine for me, but I'm only 7 or 8 feet away.
