Urgh I don't think my video sharing is working or I don't understand how it works. I just double-tapped the share button. Isn't the last 15 minutes now supposed to show up in my video clip share? I see nothing. Just videos from yesterday :\

Yeah, I'm still not 100% clear as to how it works, either...
After my first night of playing after launch, I had accidentally pressed the Share button a few times. The next day, I check my captures, and I have like 10 videos.
Earlier, I pressed Share after something cool happened, to try and capture the recent moments.. but nothing was saved.
I know that every time you press Share, it saves a picture, but I guess to save video, you actually have to go to "Upload Video".
That's my guess, anyway.

Also, what does double-tapping the share button do? I know if you hold it down, it'll just take a picture.

Yep. It happened to me earlier. Not sure why.
I tried restarting the console, but that didn't fix it. Guess it's just something they'll have to fix with an update.

Tapping it ends the manual record.

Is anyone here are using a game capture device like the Elgato with their PS4 (using an HDMI splitter)?

I'll be getting my HDMI splitter in today so I will try to keep you updated and hopefully post some HD clips I record locally then upload to Youtube. I have been using the built in Twitch app but hate the quality (even on Best) and the layout is terrible. They really need to move the chat to the right under the user cam and reduce the font size. Maybe even add a little color to that plain background.

I managed to get a better quality upload to Youtube finally. I love just sailing around in Assassin's Creed: Black Flag (especially when I happen across storms). I can't wait to get my HDMI splitter in to capture true HD quality videos.

This is really pretty obnoxious, It clutters up my timeline. Is there something stupid I'm doing with my share settings? I just want the first direct embed, not the extraneous "you shared something" post. It's weird because the two are often separated by like 10-20 minutes.

Its a bug. It didn't happen 2 days ago / launch. Which is weird

I use a Firefox addon called "VideoDownload Helper". When you start playing a video on a webpage you can click the toolbar icon and it will list the video then you can click on it and save it (I save it to my Desktop for easy access). Just make sure you select the MP4 or, if listed, the 720p/1080p versions. Then I upload the saved file to Youtube and wait for it to finish processing it in HD.

Yea I was considering doing the exact same thing, shame we can't just post directly to YT yet but I'm sure that'll come soon enough.

You can post to a specific group in facebook. So, you don't need a whole second FB account. Just make a gaming group on facebook, put no one in it (or just your gaming friends) and post to that. No need to bother granny or mess around with multiple accounts.

they should totally steal the follow system from xbox one also fb is neat people can add each other and see videos. i rather not have to do that with my personal account of adding people and such.
