starting to regret preordering at gamestop and not bothering to look for stores that broke the date, im sure there's tons of stores here already selling it too

Get X because more people are playing X and are doing so for very good reasons.
Nintendo aren't assholes when it comes to getting the games early. They only got a problem with the people leaking and stores selling early.

been playing black 2, almost at elite 4... but fuck the worst thing about pokemon games.... you need whirlpool/waterfall to continue.

Is there any video of the opening of the game yet? Really would like to watch the first 20mins to get my blood pumping... although im sure I will see it by tomorrow night if not...
I really believe that this game should be played whitout knowing nothing.

Dream World and Global Link worked just fine with a DS Lite so I'd imagine Bank will too.
No I meant using wireless to connect a dslite to a 3DS with X and then trade the old way.
Would make sense if we couldn't, but did they say something about that?

Nope you need bank, they said they were struggling to find a way to transfer Pokemon to X and Y, bank ended up being their solution, shame they couldn't have it ready for launch.

Okay, thanks. I'm kinda okay with this, I don't really want to play against people having prepared their perfect team for months right away.
That way everyone is on the same page for two months, it's fair. Actually I'd be okay if there was a small period of time before they allow transfers at each main game launch but I guess that wouldn't be a very popular solution
I wonder what will happen with old hacked pokemon

I'm disappointed there's no challenge mode. Should have become a staple. Or you know, a Hard mode selectable from the beginning.
I dunno about my team though. Froakie or Fennekin as my starter (can't decide ugh), Bulbasaur, but I don't know otherwise. I may use Torchic, but then that leaves only 3 spots for new Pokes.

Oh man oh man happened to glance at my Amazon preorders today, Pokemon wasn't expected to ship(!) until the 17!(!)

watching a few videos. REeeallly interesting that they drastically increased the speed of hp bar going down to balance out the longer attack animations and what not. They also cut out much of the weird downtimes you had in previous pokemon games in which you impatiently mashed A.
