Want some Florida Hopium?

Miami-Dade, Hillsborough, and Broward (all huge Dem strong holds) are already above 2012.

Also in DUVALLLLL county GOP is only ahead by 4k votes (absentee, early and in person). This is a GOP county. Bush won it by 60k in 2004. Romney won it by 14k. There is time left, but Trump would need to have a HUGE margin to have a shot in Florida.

thank you i needed this

Utah is reporting problems across the entire country? That doesn't make any sense whatsoever.

Washington County

Three-quarters of all voting machines in Washington County, Utah, broke down early Tuesday due to improperly coded memory cards, County Clerk Kim Hafen told VICE News.

Election officials scrambled to issue paper ballots in some locations, which quickly ran out, according to reports online. Paper ballots were not offered in other locations, such as St. George and Hurricane, local newspaper The Spectrum reported.

Raleigh/Durham seems to have good turnout.

My colleague in Charlotte was late to work due to huge line.

Some Durham precincts have asked for extended voting hours due to breakdown in electronic check in machine. Not granted yet.

How are you feeling?

Seeing as I'm not working the election I feel great. I don't miss the stress, even when you know you're basically going to win.

Haven't really paid much attention to twitter, no interesting texts so far outside of nonstop "what do you know?!?" spam texts from my mom. But I see nothing to cause concern, and I sure as hell won't be looking at exit polls.

If older people vote more, does that means that Democrats will dominate midterms in 20 years because of millennials while the GOP whines about how Gen Z needs to show up more?

@evanasmith @rushlimbaugh @HillaryClinton @mmckinnon They voted two weeks ago (not today) and did not vote for Hillary."

Bush's spokesman. EDIT: Apparently not.

Also, the Philadelphia GOP chairman was just on alleging all sorts of "shenanigans".

Why is there any reason to be nervous at all at this point

Unless Russians broke through our cyber-barrier, Hillary's leading in Florida and Nevada

But it is still possible that a political neophyte can thread the needle and win every swing state and turn a blue state red, which would amount to one of the most spectacular political miracles of all time against an incumbent party with a president that has nearly 60% approval rating and one of the great GOTV organizations of all time.

It's possible.

Coulter is bitching about people booing Trump when he went to vote. Even though we KNOW if Clinton went to vote in a heavy R district she'd get booed too

HOT TAKE:

He's got his Twitter back, which means his aides aren't worried about him needing to be disciplined anymore.

Yeah the second Limbaugh was the source, I doubted this.

HOTTER Take: He stole the phone back as his aides were packing their shit up and stealing office supplies on their way out the door

If McMuffin came in third, I think they'd vote for McMuffin.

The House would never vote for McMuffin. House Republicans are scared of Republican primary voters, and Republican primary voters want Trump. They value their self-preservation over their actual views and actually serving the country to the best of their abilities. Their number one priority is always re-election.

Bush's spokesman.

Sure, they didn't vote for Hillary, they voted against Trump.

I don't know, i just saw it in the box next to the cnn icon

Did they rig something

Supposedly it was two people working at a polling place that got into some sort of fight about people who needed the assistance of their medical aide workers to help them vote. I guess they were trying to stop people from voting because they were convinced that their aide workers were influencing the vote of their patients. I bellieve it was MSNBC I heard report that, but I've had enough different coverage on I can't 100% remember at this point.

Isn't Gen Z even more liberal?
They're more religious and financially cautious, they'll probably fit in with whatever the conservative party is by the time they're a real voting bloc.

No, it means in 20 years millennials will reliably vote Republican.
People's partisan loyalties don't really change with age, typically more with other demographic changes, like black support for the Democrats slowly shifting starting with FDR.

You guys clearly didn't pay attention in the primaries, every Republican candidate has been calling for the rebuilding of our military, because apparently we don't have as many battleships as we did in 1492 or something.
