I don't think Bronzer is poking his model back either. I just think it's crap as a forecasting tool.

I don't think you can really judge the quality of any of these models without putting them through the ringer of tons and tons of elections.

Bill Mitchell is just saying shit. He's going all in. He's just betting that Trump will win so he looks like some sort of prophet. His twitter should be amazing tomorrow.

I know it's bullshit but I like my conspiracy bullshit to at least make some logical sense.

Probably expecting too much from Mitchell in that regard.

In an effort spearheaded by University of Rochester faculty, political scientists from across the United States have signed a statement voicing their collective concern about Donald Trump, the Republican nominee for president. More than 300 political scientists assert that “a Trump presidency would pose a grave threat to American democracy and to other democratic governments around the world.”

Gretchen Helmke, professor and chairperson of the University’s Department of Political Science, reports that the list of the statement’s signers has grown in a little more than 24 hours to include professors from the nation’s top institutions and political science departments, including Berkeley, UCLA, University of Chicago, Cornell, Columbia, Dartmouth, Duke, Harvard, MIT, University of Michigan, NYU, Princeton, University of Rochester, Stanford, Yale, and others. The signatories also include 16 former presidents of the American Political Science Association (APSA), the leading professional organization for the study of political science, as well as APSA’s current president.

Quite unprecedented.

Huh, I wasn't aware there was actually a poll that showed Hilary was down in VA but it seems it was trash and even those pollsters knew it :P

I also can't believe the theory about Trump going to Minnesota over the school poll was ended up being accurate LOL

What happened to this man

No, seriously

A Black man became president. I think it short circuited his already fragile brain and he has been on a downward spiral since

EDIT: To be clear Trump was always borked, he just got extra bad after Obama

Trying to find it online, but i just saw a hilarious Trump ad (not a super pac ad) that goes all in on the FBI Email investigation here in Colorado.

edit: Found it.

There needs to be a law against airing outright falsehoods in ads like this. Or at least a law allowing stations to refuse to air it.

There's something so immensely unlikable about this Jeff Zeleny guy. Like he just studied how to be the most generic and pathetic news guy persona.

he really is bad. should've stayed with the Times. his twitter musings are level A milquetoast , like a news anchor varying his cadence during a local crime report.

So which conservative sources are we going to be casting our ACORN branded tear catching nets over tomorrow? My current lineup is

Bill Mitchell's Twitter account
NBC/CNN/FOX depending on whichever one contains the saltiest surrogates
Freerepublic
r/don_quixote

I don't know how you guys drink from the cup of the opposing side's stupid spin or their delusions. I see some video of Kellyanne Conway on CNN or you guys post these Bill Mitchell tweets and you seem invigorated by them.

I just want to vomit. It disgusts me that this is the state of our political discourse. But you guys are like "hurr hurr LOOK AT THIS".

Trump is going to use his concession speech to launch Trump TV, and spin it as a win somehow ("Presidents are weak, I'll have more influence this way"), isn't he?

I'd say Bill Mitchell.

Quite frankly I think Fox News and the GOP can't wait to cast Trump aside.

This has a real chance to completely back fire as people figure out they have been conned out of stopping Clinton for a man who just wanted to sell them something.

I'm actually banking on that, because I don't think these people are that stupid to notice when Trump set it up before he lost.

I think so too. This makes it look like it was a con the whole time. Scampaign 2016

Prediction: Votecastr is going to dominate social media and online discussion, including on here, tomorrow. For better or worse it's going to be talked about everywhere.

I wonder will/can the TV coverage even acknowledge it.

That really is hopeless. Despite Hope College.

That area is pretty racist, being just South and North of the only decently large AA population centers in Western MI. I guarantee unapologetic Trump supporters there.

That's just South of where I grew up. Western MI is not going Blue ever.

As someone still living here, totally agreed. I live south of Holland, went to a high school here, and honestly can remember like one or two African American students during my time there. Period. See a ton of Trump signs around here sadly. Seen a sole Gary Johnson sign, too. That one made me laugh. So yeah, things really suck here.

+2 at least tomorrow from me and my mother for Clinton, hopefully. Father, I haven't a clue on.

Our long national nightmare is almost over.

There is no more oppo left to drop, except Wikileaks who insists that Podesta actually has interesting things to email about.

Oh I'm aware!!!!

Wonder if it hurts turnout!!!

Trump is not sincere in any of the things he says or does. Even now. He's just saying anything to get a vote. He saw an anti establishment vacuum in the GOP that he could fill, and he took it. Nothing more. The man doesn't believe in anything other than what he can do to stroke his ego.
