Today, we make history.

Today, we don't wait for luck to change us.

Today, we make our own change.

Good night, and good luck.

:lol @ calling Obama the candidate of wallstreet.

The guy PASSED UP wallstreet for community organizing in Chicago.

First tragedy, then farce.
Canadians also have access to delicious ketchup flavored potato chips.

I welcome our new Canadian overlords. So long as I don't have to watch Corner Gas.

I think as a last hurrah Bush should invade Canada, specifically bishoptl's house. That way we can bring the ideals of ice tea and milk to the country by setting up a perfect drinkocracy.

I can hardly believe it's actually November 4th. Iowa seems like such a short while ago. Do what's right America, make the world proud!

Nah, this is the November 4th thread. He closed the last one down a day ago.

GAF supported Howard Dean in the primaries. We wound up getting behind Kerry more because we hated Bush than because we liked Kerry.

No one likes Kerry. Kerry is bored by Kerry.

It's nice that Obama is sort of the spiritual successor of Dean in a much more personable package. The way that Dean thing went down always pissed me off.

That's just over confidence. I felt the same thing in 2004. I was let down.

The state of the 2004 race was radically different. Kerry was either a slight underdog or just exactly even with Bush by election day.

Where do Canadian's advertise their missing children then? Do they just assume a polar bear ate them and move on?

I'm pulling an all-nighter studying for my political science exam (since it's so easy) and doing some volunteer work for the Obama campaign after classes. I hope I won't be too drained to watch the election coverage.

Let's go, America!

Americans drink milk from a carton or a jug. Only Canadian terrorists drink milk from a bag. :D

I pm'd Hito if there was going to be a new title, as I thought of Bad Dudes' "Thread of Are You a Bad Enough Dude to Elect the President?", but he went offline. :(

How do you even make iced tea, if not with tea?

wikipedia said:
In Canada, iced tea refers to sweetened iced tea, usually flavoured with lemon. In most provinces, unsweetened iced tea is almost unheard of. Green teas and those flavoured with raspberry, peach, or pomegranate are also becoming more common. Iced tea is often served as an alternative to other soft drinks, prepared by companies like Lipton, Arizona and Nestea, although fresh-brewed iced tea is becoming somewhat popular, particularly in smaller independently-owned restaurants. Powdered or frozen iced tea is the most common preparation at home, due to its ease of use

Zoiks!

I'm a little disturbed that this turns out to be the answer:
Powdered or frozen iced tea is the most common preparation at home, due to its ease of use.
:O

Unless it's powdered hopium tea. I would totally drink that.
