First his foray into PA, now this:

RT @hollybdc: Romney appears to be filming folks asleep in the front cabin of his campaign plane with his iPhone. He's laughing.

confident, relaxed, and mischievous. don't think a losing candidate would behave this way..

B-Dubs

No Scrubs
Fox news and Steve "Douchie" got butt-hurt by Christie, so now they are going to focus on frustrated folk who will complain about FEMA not helping them soon enough.

Expect interviews of poor white folk in front of their once-standing homes crying, screaming and condemning Obama and Christie.

That's what the local Fox channel has been focusing on from the start...

I am really interested in seeing if the Obama and Christies bromance will have any major impact. The high and very genuine praise from Gov. Christie hit right at what Romney has been trying to say. Even if neither were thinking politics at the time it still worked in both of their favor. A promise saying you'll work with democrats from Romney vs very real world example of Obama working very closely and well with a republican in a very major way. Him hugging that older woman as well didn't hurt. Their time together got a LOT of play over the last few days.

Question. What would it take for dems to say flip a place like Montana, North and South Dakota? Low population but is there anything about the people there that would make them completely hostile to a honest attempt by dems? If they started off small by really backing people running for congress there?

A Dem eliminating the EPA might work

Unemployment rate increases slightly and the number of unemployed Americans stays the same at 12.3 million, and you guys are spinning it as good news for Obama. Talk about desperation....
Told y'all it would go up. God, it's not easy being right all the time.

"Bit in the ass," guys. "Bit in the ass."

This seems a little dumb to me. The unemployment reports have barely moved the needle all year. Now maintaining the rate of 7.8% would create an "uncertain house"?

yeah, its pretty garbage to suggest that .1% has any sway whatsoever. If he removed 80% of that prediction it would be better.

You can read Nate's analysis on those states
Montana - http://fivethirtyeight.blogs.nytimes.com/2012/06/21/presidential-geography-montana/

SD - http://fivethirtyeight.blogs.nytime...uth-dakota-only-the-farm-trumps-conservatism/

ND - http://fivethirtyeight.blogs.nytime...xtra-ingredient-in-north-dakota-politics-oil/

Yeah, it's not likely at all, but Montana is definitely an easier get than the latter two as the demographics there change.

Obama's taking this with a comfortable 303 electoral votes. Bank on it, son.

"There isn't enough time for these campaigns to rebuild momentum. Insufficient time to get the planes back up in the air. It's like Christmas Day: technically, we might still have a few hours left to shop, but there isn't enough time to go, shop and get back home."

-- Republican consultant Alex Castellanos, quoted by BuzzFeed, saying the campaign effectively ended on Monday with Hurricane Sandy.

Clinton, who was considered the savior of the Democratic National Convention with a long winded, wonky speech that only Clinton could deliver and still capitivate an audience, will be in Pennsylvania on Monday, a Democratic source said.

I think it plays directly into what most Americans want to see, which is politics set aside to move the country forward.
