No.
Fuck the Kennedys.

I guess Ted was all right, if you're willing to overlook the whole "leaving a woman to die in a car you wrecked and fleeing the scene" part.

Do you think that Eugene McCarthy would have been the Democratic nominee in 1968 had RFK not stepped in?

Of course, blaming RFK on Humphrey being the nominee kind of depends on blaming him for also being assassinated.

You wish Obama was a Nazi?

nazis are on the opposite spectrum of my aims. I prefer the more commie-socialist route that comrade FDR laid out all those years ago.

No more Romneys. Please. Can they just stick to playing games with money and stay out of politics?

Rather we should enact laws to bring down every single tactic they use to cowardly evade taxes.

I think after this the romney name is just about as toxic as "bush."

The Romney name isn't that toxic, it's just that none of the Romneys seem to stand at as being much more than legacy brats.

Except for Ben Romney. Something tells me that he's probably the best of the Romney sons. Not that he's going to run for office or anything.

He's the only one without a weird name though, isn't he?

It doesn't look like PPP is doing an MD poll before Tuesday, so we won't see anything on a gay marriage front from them. MN poll from them tonight. Hope!

I think Tagg is the only one with a weird name.

Ben is supposedly the least political, the one who has a goal of actually working for a living instead of making a fortune off of investments, and on Conan seemed to stand out as not fitting in. One of the Romney sons even suggested that Ben was a girl on that appearance.

Nah, I just think that JFK is the worst Democratic president since WWII (by no small margin) and that RFK was a terrible attorney general and an asshole in general.
I also hate the concept of political blueblood (I make an exception for Hilary and FDR because I'm a commie hypocrite).

No one would've heard of that guy if his name wasn't Kennedy.
We've never had a President who was face to face with worldwide Nuclear War like Kennedy.
He created that crisis for fuck's sake.
Good thing the ruskies decided to be adults there.
He does deserve some credit for standing up for some of the crazier element in the US military (mainly the air force) and for folding out like a little bitch at the end (without telling the American public: PROFILES IN COURAGE!) but that's about it.

I wonder if Fox is going to mention this...

cnn said:
CNN) -- The FBI is expected to question a suspect in the deadly attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, "in the coming days," according to a U.S. government official with direct knowledge of the investigation.
The United States first became aware of Ali Ani al Harzi when he apparently posted details of the attack on social media while it was happening.
At the request of the United States, Turkish officials detained al Harzi when he entered that country after leaving Libya. Turkey then transferred him to Tunisia, where he is being held.
"We are very pleased the Tunisian government is working with American investigators to allow in person access to Ali Ani al Harzi. Under this arrangement the interviews will be under Tunisian supervision and consistent with their sovereignty and meets the needs of our investigative team," U.S. Senators Lindsey Graham and Saxby Chambliss said in a statement Saturday.

ONE FUCKING SUSPECT!

I just don't buy that dude's notion that Tea Partiers were counted as Independents and then "came home to roost". Plus it's that whole "2008 turnout" thing that you were sick of discussing.

Is this thread gonna get locked in favour of the new OT one, or are the two threads gonna run at the same time?

The aggregate polls were accurate in 2008 without significant bias. The biggest problem I see is that he's assuming lower general turnout means lower turnout in Ohio, Wisconsin, Virginia and Florida, which are being bombarded with media attention due to their importance.

That guy can say anything he wants, his predictions are still based on the theory that every single poll is inaccurate other than Rasmussen, which I don't buy because there isn't any substantial support for that notion based on previous polling. If anything, people who don't get polled tend to break Democratic since they don't speak English and/or don't have landlines.
