Ha, Charles Krauthammer on Fox News just pointed to Obama's "revenge" comment as a mistake. Despite correctly noting the comment was a play on F Scott Fitzgerald's "Living well is the best revenge" and the intent of the comment, he characterised it as a mistake because Romney was able to twist it to sound angry and sinister.

"You screwed up because we can quote you out of context!"

Why not just watch it on ABC/NBC/CBS?
Don't have the ability to AFAIK. I'm looking into buying an OTA receiver though. Prob won't get here in time however.
Check your PMs.

And C-SPAN has streaming at its own website: http://www.c-span.org/Live-Video/C-SPAN/

I would like some opinions of the main three networks though. I have no cable, so I'll be streaming on computer, streaming on iPad, and streaming on laptop.. but I haven't decided among CBS/NBC/ABC for my TV.
Thank you muchos!
I don't know his situation, but I can't do this either because I don't even own a digital receiver.

I'm betting other folks are in the same boat.

Yep.

Dick Morris Prediction:

Romney 325 EVs!!
Obama 213 EVs
>5% PV wins

Gives a whole new meaning to "You don't know dick"

So Paul Ryan went Palin . . .

CASTLE ROCK, Colorado (Reuters) - In a telephone call with evangelical voters Sunday night, U.S. Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan told potential voters that President Barack Obama's path for the United States compromises Judeo-Christian values.

The comment came during the final sprint for the U.S. election on Tuesday.
Speaking to the Faith and Freedom Coalition, a leading group of Christian conservatives, Ryan attacked Obama's vision in stark terms.

In the campaign's last week, Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney and Ryan, his running mate, have argued that if elected, they would end partisan divisiveness and work with Democrats to find solutions in Washington.

"It's a dangerous path," Ryan said of Obama's plan for the United States. "It's a path that grows government, restricts freedom and liberty, and compromises those values, those Judeo-Christian, Western civilization values that made us such a great and exceptional nation in the first place."

C'mon . . . just say it. He's a Muslim right?

BTW, wouldn't a Mormon actually be worse for the alleged "Judeo-Christian" of our founding fathers since Mormonism didn't even exist at the founding.

I'm somewhat curious as to how Morris explain away how he got it so, so wrong. I thought he'd use Sandy to backtrack. But he double downed.

@PeterHambyCNN
Dems in Ohio blowing up early vote today in blue counties like Cuyahoga, Lucas, Franklin. Some GOP anxiety about it.

Can't wait to see EV numbers when they update after today. Reports of lots of long lines in OH.'

Obama won Cuyahoga by 245k in 2008, he will need similar numbers this time around. As for Nov 3rd update, 40% of 2012 voting had already happened there.

Rand 50-45 Obama. Really 50-45.5 but rounded it's Obama +5.

Also, love freerepublic:

You are right on the mark!!! Obama will lose the POTUS, being defeated by a landslide victory for Romney/Ryan and the entire Republican Party. The Republican Party will own the majority of governorships, The US Senate and US House!!! I predict the popular vote will goes as follows: Romney/Ryan 57%, Obama/Biden, 40%, others 3%. Note: Obama/Biden will only carry about eight to twelve states.

The real hit will be on pollsters and the Obamabot media who will look like buffoons and political deadbeats across the board.

LOL

Based on their swing state poll, I would expect the national gallup poll to be Romney +1-3, if it's mostly based on [mostly] the same sample, which is likely.

US-GAF, do you have a culture of protest vote in your country? Seen from here, the voting system seem to push you to vote for either of the candidates while you could also solely disagree with both. Given the fact that your country has been put to debt and lost much of its image abroad by both parties in power, this might be a way to express your discontentment ?

2000 killed the protest vote.

How can you vote on proposition bills? I see a lot of mention about them in California but how come I never see any in New York? How do you register and vote for them?

2000 killed the protest vote.

This isn't fair, if the supreme court accepted the Florida recount Gore would have won. The blame should be on them for robbing the election.

If Nader wasn't on the ballot in FL it's quite possible Gore could have secured at least 12k votes and thus Dubya would have been denied the Presidency.

Protest voting won't do shit. Congress, the constitution, and campaign laws have to be fundamentally changed if we ever want to see a viable 3+ party system in this country.

Switching to Parliament would do wonders but that's a pipe dream.

I'm banking on +3+4 romney for gallup. I think at this point they know they can't go in the positive for obama or that would cause a republican freak out but I bet it will be close enough for the MOE.

Doubt it, their swing state numbers before they put their poll on hold was R+4, last night they did their first (and final) release since then and it was tied. Meaning they shifted their numbers a lot. I expect it to be a tie today or at most R +1 or 2.

Reports from across Dem strongholds in Ohio yesterday were that there was literally an explosion of +Dem voters. It was expected, of course, but indications seem to be that the surge is even BIGGER than expected.

Ohio is something else, tell you what. If that shit is called early... I am going to sleep like a baby.

Woke up real early today and watching CNN, I can already tell there's gonna be a whole chorus of dead-heat talk today. Oh boy.

And really, so glad people are coming out in force and cramming it in the faces of all the idiots who thought enthusiasm would be down. They can fuck off.

I have to be up at this time and it's on in the background. Besides, it's better than watching the same Sportscenter repeat for the fourth or fifth time

She graduated cum laude from Cornell and later got a JD. It doesn't make sense to me. Did she suffer a severe blow to the head shortly after passing the bar? I've never read anything by her to make me think she's any better than below-average intellectually.

Except I've seen her in debates and conversations. Wherever her intellectual horsepower lies, it's not in the real time or rhetorical realms. Maybe she was a hard worker, but maybe sho clothes lined herself in her race to pass the Bar. Right in the throat by the looks of it.

Hahaha, exactly! That's all it is, really. Don't take it seriously and it's good to see what the agenda is for the day.

This is the first time I've seen Morning Joe in over a year. He seems to be fervently praying for a miracle on the inside. It's that kind of "please let all of those polling outfits and statisticians be wrong" prayer that makes me giggle. I know that prayer and laugh.. because I've said it myself.

Damn, those ohio polls are bad. 3-4 point lead. I've been saying that for a long time. I hope it comes true so I can look smart. :D

Iowa bit close for my liking.

So national polls show Obama up over 1, now? What Silver's model had been predicting all along!

With Husted in power and the reports of huge dem early voting, I find that to be worrisome.
