Just checked out Lana's "Young and Beautiful" song... yeah not feeling it. Florence's "Over The Love" is a million times better. I think I might be done stanning Lana. Kind of done with her.

Yall keep coming for ellie but can't stop listening to ha. Amazing.

I take a deep breath everytime I pass your door
I know you're there but I can't see you anymore
And that's the reason you're in the dark
I've been a stranger ever since we fell apart
And I feel so helpless here
Watch my eyes are filled with fear
Tell me do you feel the same
Hold me in your arms again

Bonnie McKee on the new Britney single off "The Smurfs 2" OST:

"I just wrote something for Britney Spears for the Smurfs movie," songwriter McKee told THR. "Which was a really funny assignment because it’s for the Smurfs movie so it has to family friendly but it’s Britney Spears so it has to be a Britney Spears radio song. And Britney Spears is just all sex all day. So how many sexual innuendos can I come up with that aren’t too painfully obvious for the parents to get upset about. That was an interesting challenge."

And Queen Katy was in Mexico promoting The Smurfs 2 movie as well. She's looking flawless and ready to block upcoming pop releases

I'm ready to be slayed by that Bonnie McKee penned Britney single.

I can't wait for Bonnie to release her own album. Been waiting since 2004 for something new from her.

The BPI analyzing advertisements and their celebrity spokespeople found that consumers continued to ridicule the awkward monologue in Brad Pitt's debut ad for Chanel No. 5, and buzzed about Beyoncé's vivacious Pepsi ad from the Oscars. Online consumers chatted most about Beyoncé, generating 47 percent of the overall conversation about the seven spokespeople, and also had the highest Passion Intensity score (76) and a mid-range Net Sentiment score (29). Conversations about the performer's endorsement of Pepsi (70 percent positive) revealed that online consumers not only love the pairing of Pepsi and Beyoncé, but also the commercials and print ads.

I came across this album last week and really ended up liking ha and wanted to share it with you.

Rhye-Woman.jpg

It's poppy and has some R&B in ha as well. Sort of like 20/20 except the songs know how to end and the album is quite short (35 minutes). It also features a singer who's voice is very soothing and doesn't get grating when he reaches for high notes. Don't expect any pussy popping anthems tho, the album is very reserved and calm.

Here are some of my faves:

Let me know what you think. It's on spotify if you wanna hear the whole thing.

Woman by Rhye is an exercise in sheer monotony and unengaging melodies, as ratified by others in the plug room.

Avoid at all costs.

I disagree, Rhye's Woman affected me to the point where my high blood pressure disappeared after my latest clinician's appointment.

I recommend Rhye to anyone suffering from insomnia and heart palpitations.

Okay so yesterday I saw Jessie Ware, Grimes, James Blake, and La Roux.

Each one of them completely flawless. I said fucking wow at Jessie. The woman is perfection. We had a moment, too. Grimes was a little strange but the whole vibe of her set was perfect for her. James always looks so somber, but god damn does he play well. Voyeur was incredible to experience live, as was Limit to your Love. La Roux fucking killed it. They played 3 new songs, and she was just amazing. Her voice is so so great.

Coachella was incredible this year. Pop/EDM perfection all around.
