Apparently it's a 3-year-old rumor that he changed it to "Knowles-Carter" which, if true, I don't see a problem with.

Don't really think that's much of an issue. I mean, it's called the Mrs. Carter Show, so it's only natural to assume that the motif would be centered around her husband. I mean, that's generally what motifs are supposed to be. I hope you get equally as irritated with other pop stars that spew out incessant repetition and lack-of-subtlety when they explain their creative direction...

And I C ur shade, but if there's one thing you can't claim Xtina is it's repetitive. Heck, she might be more successful if she didn't go in a completely different direction every time she released a project. ;___;

Your comment referred to her having to bludgeon people to death with the Mrs. Carter Show motif, which isn't really the same argument as musical variety throughout her albums (maybe you inferred that from my posts, however). True, it may be a strange theme to some, but is it really any stranger than dedicating/being inspired to write a song about a loved one? That's a tangential argument, anyway.
Back to Xtina, though, complaining about Jay-Z's face on a micro-medallion is like complaining about Stripped showing Xtina stripped of her top, Bionic having a bionic Xtina face, or Lotus having a, well, lotus. Besides, Jay-Z wasn't really a prominent detail, Nem had to zoom in for anyone to notice. Most the theme from that tour commercial is heavily Rococo-inspired. Aurally, we don't have any clue what it'll sound like. It's only natural to assume there will be songs about him on her album, but unless she inserts Jay-Z/Mrs. Carter into every verse, maybe you'll have an argument.

We'll see, sis. I wasn't just referring to the medallion, what little we've gotten for this era seems focused on her Mrs Joe Camel status.

I hope the video is nothing like the mehness we got with Dark Side. That video was like the worse Kelly video ever. I still haven't gotten all the way through it. I just couldn't handle it after about a minute. Catch My Breath has a great and simple video, but I hope there's a good story in the video for People Like Us. We shall see. I'm definitely expecting this song to smash.YAS! Stan!

Yeah. Her last two video's have been a disaster. While CMB's is better than DS's it still has accumulated a pathetically small number of views.

So, I just got done watching Carly Rae Jepsen's new music video for "Tonight I'm Getting Over You" and I thought it was super cute. I want her to be super successful, and clock Taylor Swift out of the game. Carly is the superior role model, and Taylor's music should be relegated to collecting dust in attics now.
