Hey guys, if you're into rock I really want to get everyone together to make a competent general Rock thread to catch all of the band don't quite fit into Metal or Punk, I'm pretty up on new releases so I'd like to contribute a notable release list, but frankly I'm not as skilled at making nice looking OPs fit with banners and graphics so if anyone would like to make the thread or help make the thread let me know please : )

If you've been wanting Lady Gaga to be a regular, predictable, generic pop starlet then I'm really, really glad you've ended up disappointed. And no, don't tell me that she wasn't regular, predictable, or generic during The Fame era. She was just more comfortable for you to define.

Your attempt to dismiss what you know I'm going to say before I say it doesn't change the fact that I'm right.

The Fame era Gaga wasn't regular, predictable or generic. And no, you couldn't define her. That was the entire reason why Gaga took off the way she did. She fit no mold. She was her own creation (minus some Grace Jones references). You desperate stans are just retroactively declaring Debut Gaga basic and generic because that Gaga also knew how to craft a hit and held the world's attention in her clenched fist. But the world saw saw her as anything BUT basic and generic at the time, and you didn't see her that way either.

At this point Gaga isn't even entertaining anymore, I've lost all confidence after hearing Aura. This is the kind of overselling and unwarranted horn tooting that led to the famine of fun that was BTW.

Honestly, I'm more hyped than I've ever been for her music after hearing Aura. Exactly what I want - towering NIN-style electronic/synthesized production with poppy choruses.

All my faovurite Gaga songs are the more synthesized/glitchy sounding ones, so this suits me fine. Might change upon hearing the album, of course. If i want simpler carefree pop stuff I'll listen to her earlier songs.
