Looking to buy Endless Legend, Pillars of Eternity, Age of Empires II African Kingdoms, and the rest of the Rocket League DLC I don't already own.

Lol that gif is amazing.

I'm hoping for a decent discount on Ryse

Is cdkeys a safe site? Don't they sell stolen keys or something like that? Or that just an unfounded rumor?

They're perfectly fine, I buy all of my games from them without issue, they buy in bulk from countries with cheaper prices and resell them. They do not sell stolen keys, they can't be compared with a random seller on G2A.

As for the sale, I'll add £20 to the old wallet although I have all the 75% off games I want. I do want the Dungeon Defenders II Defender's Pack though so hoping for a sale on that.

Oh, okay. I always avoided the site before. Good to know

And here we go again.

tsktsktsk

Looking forward to getting Dark Souls, Saints Row IV and Skyrim Dragonborn DLC. I'll have to wait until summer for other titles since my back log is waaaay too big.

But what is left on Steam to even buy??

Though I've got almost 150 titles on my Wishlist (mostly for tracking, so I don't forget stuff of interest), here's my Holiday Shortlist'

Rodina
Cradle
Undertale
Infinifactory
Cibele
Endless Legend
Train Simulator 2016

With the increase in all these delicious Japanese games, I am excited for some sales!

Canadian Boxing Day sales are weak but I just know GabeN will save us tomorrow.

I can't recommend Infinifactory enough. It's so so good

Main thing I'm looking to pick up is Resident Evil HD Remaster.

Then in my Maybe, Depends How I Feel list:
Sublevel Zero
The Next Penelope
AC Chronicles: China
The Depths of Tolagal
Software Inc
Hacknet

Have bought next to nothing on Steam sales for the last 2 years and this years is likely to be no different. (I have boughta few new releases though)

Sales dont seem as deep or impulse tempting as years past and my backlog is big enough as it is that I view my Wishlist as backlog 2.0. Its cheaper to just not buy them and look at them there instead.

Probably gonna get Euro Truck Simulator this time since so many people like it. Aside from that.. who knows.

Going to try and limit myself to only buying the expansions to SM's Beyond Earth. There are two, right? Spaceships and something else? Do they make the game more fun than it is in vanilla form?

Bring on the seals and deals. Hoping for good discounts on TitS and Ori. Need "short" games as I have too many huge 60+ hour games that I'm trying to finish already.

Does the sale start at 10AM PST?

I don't know what those "you need to check every 4 hours" people are on. Even the flashes were up for a day, and the dailies were 48 hours, and almost everything went on encore for the last days of the sale. It would be very hard to miss a specific game sale from the last year+.

CD Keys is about as reputable as a reseller can be, but, as always:

The problem with unauthorised resellers in general is that purchasing a product leaves the buyer vulnerable to the possibility of the key later being revoked by the publisher, in which case, since the key was purchased from a source that is not recognised as legitimate, neither the service provider (e.g. Valve) nor publisher (e.g. WB) will be of assistance. Additionally, pre-orders can be a bit of gamble due to regional restrictions, which cannot be wholly ascertained until the game has released and the contents[/details] of the package the key activates are known.

I have a handful of resold keys tied to my Steam account myself that are now years old, but I nonetheless feel it's important that those who are adamant about using a reseller are aware of the potential issues -- risks that simply don't apply to stores that are officially affiliated with publishers or promotional keys being sold on the likes of eBay by people who upgraded their GPUs and don't want them.

Thought of a game I really wanted to buy last night and promptly forgot what it was four seconds later. Still can't remember. Really frustrating.

I'll probably buy it anyway, but I wouldn't mind getting Downwell when it's on sale.

As far as that goes I'm hoping for discounts for stuff on my wishlist (Castle in the Darkness, Broforce, Anno 2070 Deep Ocean, and Binding of Isaac: Rebirth+DLC).

There will not be daily deals or flash deals during this sale, from what I understand.

I want to complete my Tom Clancy collection... even though I doubt I'll play the few that I'm missing... End War, I'm looking at you.

I guess I'll follow this. It'll be the first Steam sale I've ever had a computer competent enough to bother with. Still, this is an old enough laptop that I can't really play much of anything past 2012 or so, but I'll keep an eye out.

Downwell wqa 2 bucks during autumn sale.

I didn't like the dailies or flash sales. It wasn't fun waiting for a new day only to see a bunch of crappy deals be filled out.

I do like the community/crafting stuff though.
