Steam sale eve. I'm getting all tingly.
No countdown at the OP ?
I expected more, GAF
Twas the nigth before Steam sale, and all through the house
No peripheral was utilized, not even a mouse
The wallet was ready, placed down with care
In hope that st. Gaben soon would be there
The master race were nestles all snug in their beds
Whilst visions of discounts danced in their heads
And Mama in her 'kerchief, and I in my cap,
Had just settled our brains for a resless winter's nap-
When down the router there arose such a clatter
I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter
Away to the window I flew like a flash,
Tore open the shutters, and threw up the sash.
The moon on the breast of the new fallen snow,
Gave the lustre of mid-day to objects below;
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a miniature sleigh, and eight tiny rein-deer,
With a little old driver, both kind and cruel,
I knew in a moment it must be Newell.
More rapid than eagles his coursers they came,
And he whistled, and shouted, and call'd them by name:
"Now! Scout, now! Soldier, now! Medic, and Freeman,
"On! Sniper, on! Spy, on! Pyro and G-man;
"To the top of the porch! to the top of the wall!
"Now spend away! spend away! spend away all!"
As dry leaves before the wild hurricane fly,
When they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky;
So up to the house-top the coursers they flew,
With the sleigh full of discounts - and Lord Gaben too:
And then in a twinkling, I heard on the roof
The prancing and pawing of each little hoof.
As I drew in my head, and was turning around,
Down the chimney Lord Gaben came with a bound:
He was dress'd all in beard, from his head to his foot,
And his clothes were all tarnish'd with ashes and soot;
A bundle of games was flung on his back,
And he look'd like a peddler just opening his pack:
His eyes - how they twinkled! his dimples how merry,
His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry;
His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow,
And the beard of his chin was as white as the snow;
The stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth,
And the smoke it encircled his head like a wreath.
I'm so ready! What time does it go up, and what timezone? It's been the 22nd in New Zealand for 18 hours! Gimme the capitalism!

Unlike others, I'm pretty happy there are no dailies. I can check what's on sale at my own leisure without having to worry about missing something, or waiting until the last day to get something I really want.
While I'm glad I don't have to check the store every few hours any more, I do think it'll discourage publishers from offering the best discounts since they have to have them live for days at a time rather than a few hours. I can't see many of the bigger games going over 66% off, but I'd be happy to be proven wrong.Unlike others, I'm pretty happy there are no dailies. Really hoping R6Siege is 50% off, so I can grab it already.
really hoping for a HUGE discount on GTAV, I need to double dip
Pillars of Eternity is my GotY. You should get it.I'm primarily looking out for Rocket League DLC.
And maybe a game that can last me a long time, Pillars of Eternity?
The game isn't even a month old, there's no way it'll be that heavily discounted. I'd say 10% tops.

Ubisoft had it 25% off on uplay this weekend.

So these sales last 10 days, the same games or do they change?
More games get added to the sale, being discounted of course.
During Autumn sale, Ubisoft games went on sale for a few days only for example.
So no daily or flash sales? Everyting will be at it's lowest price at day one?
