Problem getting my PC to install my PSP as a removable drive.

The Autumn Wind
Ok, I've tried a few things, but nothing is working, so I figure one of you may be able to help me.

Firstly, I'm running Windows ME. When I hook up my PSP through the USB cable, and use the USB connection option on the PSP, the install window comes up, but it never starts installing. When I check the task manager, it says the program is not responding. I've tried looking for driver updates, but nothing so far has worked.

Any help would be appreciated.

There is a topic in xbox-scene in which some guy claims he has got the thing work under win98...Actually I have an old PC running win98 and I would like to make it work...

It seems the solution is to use a driver from a 3rd party USB FLASH device...Good luck finding it.

I posted on the official psp thread how you can get it ti work with win98. I wiould think the steps are the same for win me. The key part is that you have to install a mass storage device driver. You can go and install the generic one MS themselfs have made for windows. Just search for it on goggle and youll find it.
