Curious that the leaked video showed From Software's logo, but not Japan Studio...

Or am I overthinking it?

that video is actually a compilation of the leaked webm's put together, it isn't a video that follows a sequence

for all we know japan studio logo will be shown after the from studio logo in the e3 video
 
Ah, shit, I thought there had been a screenshot posted from the original leak with the same tripcode user, but apparently I was incorrect. Still, the guy who provided the webms said it outright.

Like I said I could be wrong but I could of sworn the first time it got posted was just some anon dumping it.

The hype train de-railed when it was announced as F2P procedural

I wonder how that game will shape up given the delay. The graphics will probably
outstanding :o

Though, the F2P part is a legitimate reason to be cautious.

EDIT: This Beast game should opt for a stronger narrative than the Souls games.
 
While I love the Souls series and want them to continue a single player focus, I would also love to see From branch out to a coop balanced/focused game a la Monster Huntee. That could be awesome.

How does it wok in MonHunt? Like, would I be able to take down monsters myself, or
will I be forever dependent on another player?

I think it'd be pretty cool if the number of enemies increased when you had summons helping you.

Monster hunter is pure skill, it is possible to kill for the most part anything on your own if you have the proper gear / know what you are doing.
 
Seriously. That was like the worst possible thing they could've announced about the game.

Ya I actually had Deep Down on a long term pre-order... then it went F2P and my pre-order was cancelled... now i'm completely oblivious to it. Not sure what Capcom is thinking with that one...
 
Man I should really finish Demon Souls and Dark Souls. And now this. I'm sure it's going to be a Cuthulu-ish world. Bet the hero arrives by train:p
 
1) So is it a whip and a retractable scythe? or just the scythe in all the webms? Regardless, the scythe is freaking cool, especially since it has two modes like that.

2) Anyone figure out DemonNite's easter egg? Or have we settled on that being the 5 beeps?

I hope it's different.
Finishing up DkS2 right now and though I enjoyed it feels unnecesarry. DeS and DkS were amazing, DkS2 is (and this seem like) just more of the same.
Hope I'm wrong about this, DeS and DkS are GOAT candidates, as far as I'm concerned.

Biggest difference is that the Souls games are balanced for single player and kind of break in multiplayer . Monster Hunter is kind of the reverse. You can play it single player but I think it is more tedious and less interesting cause it is built as a coop game.
 
Well, here is how i feel about it. I dont mind it, but seeing a firearm in a fantasy like game (IF this game is one ) remove the taste of being a fantasy game.

BUT.

After looking closely at the 4 gifs again, i am now more thinking of a game that will be in a Cthulu-ish environment . The boss presented look like Cthulu himself! So im thinking its a game set in a fantastic world or something.
I think the Fable series is a good example of how to work firearms into a world without detracting from the fantasy element.

Yeah, I agree on it being the beeps. I tried pausing it and seeing if there was any other significant differences (besides the button logos being added in, etc.) and there isn't anything else that stands out.
