doesn't run as well as snes9xTYL for me. haven't messed with the settings on it yet though.deim0s said:Too bad doesn't work with HBL@6.36 ofw, returns back to HBL menu. Probably needs an update by the author.
snes9xTYL works fine for me.
Flek said:so i have a psp 1000 with OFW 6.20 here and want to have some kind of CFW which allows me to export my umds for use on my new go.
What do i need to do?
red shoe paul said:Dump them with another CFW PSP with a UMD drive and transfer to your Go.
Flek said:yeha i know. My question was what do i have to do to get my 1000 on a CFW which supports umd dumping !?
Mejilan said:I believe it doesn't care whether you use one slot or two.
But you can't just hot-swap microSDs either.
Any time you change your configuration, you'll have to perform a reformat.
So, for example, if you're using one 16GB SD card, and then switch up to two SD cards, you'll need to pop the two in and reformat them as one 32GB block.
B.K. said:Just change the USB Mode in the VSH Menu to UMD, connect your PSP to your PC with a USB cable, and copy over the image.

not everything works on 6.36 yet that works on 6.20. a lot of the big stuff does though. from what i've read some SNES emulators and prometheus loader do.BladeoftheImmortal said:Just so I'm sure about this I've got a friend that'll sell me his PSPGo for 100 and it's on 6.36. So I can still use HEN with this one, right. Does the Prometheus Loader/ SNES Emulators all work with 6.36 or should I try and find a 6.20 firmware enabled PSPGo?
Just want to make sure everything that can run on 6.20 Hen works on 6.36 HEN.
AndyMoogle said:So I've been skimming through a bit of this thread and done some google searching, but I'm still not quite clear on how all of this works. If I get a PSP-3000 now I'll have to get a pandora battery to be able to get cfw on it?
ConradCervantes said:Okay. What's the best way to do that?
download 6.20 to your pc, copy it to your psp and run it.Flek said:Ok so i got a Go today, it is on OFW 5.70. But it doesn´t allow me to go online, it wants to force me to update first.
Of course i want to throw a hen/cfw on it. So what do i need to do now?
cheers

don't delete the patapon demo, get hen 6.20 b and put it on there and you'll be pretty much done.
then you boot patapon, load the save game, try to start playing and it resets to the xmb ready to go.
you can get a plugin called PSN lover that'll get you into the psn store on the PSP if you want to do that, but if you don't, you can buy stuff through media go on PC and copy it over.
hen 6.20 c is coming soon which should add online support to games (this currently doesn't work, which is a pain obviously).
you can just sleep your PSP to keep HEN active (or if you pause a game after HEN is loaded, resuming that game will also resume HEN). if it powers off (and you don't have a paused game to resume) to reload just load up patapon and load the hen save game again.
no... i thought every PSP Go had it preinstalled. if it isn't preinstalled just download the demo. use media go if you can't find it anywhere else.Flek said:thx for the quick answer![]()
every 6.20 comes with a patapon demo? Or is it a special 6.20 version?
?the_painted_bird said:Does using HEN limit PSN access on the Go? Even so, I'll still be able to download PSN content on my computer/PS3, correct?
you can use a plugin (psnlover) to get to the store. currently you cannot play anything online using 6.20 HEN B, but HEN C is meant to restore that. i presume if you're on 6.35 HEN you can play online and get to the store no problem.the_painted_bird said:
Don't think there is any way to get them to work. Yet.ConradCervantes said:Ugh, I've been ignoring the scene in a while, so I'm a bit rusty on things. What is the best way to get purchased PSN content to run on a CFW PSP? I'm running 5.50 Prom-2 right now, and I bought Gravity Crash and Hot Shot Shorties, but I'm blanking on how to make them work.
Download 5.50 Prometheus Patch 4, backup your saves to PC, install patch. Voilà.Mailenstein said:Haven't been up to date for a while, so I hope you guys can point me out to what FW version I should update my PSP Slim 2000.
Right now I'm on 5.50 GEN-D.
What is the latest (best) CFW for my model right now and what are the steps to get there?
Thanks in advance guys!
Edit: Found it myself and it seems like I should better stay on 5.50 GEN-D3. Thank tho, guys.
Thanks for your reply, Mejilan. I wrote 5.50 Prome-2 originally, but thought that would confuse people maybe, so I changed the text to 5.50 GEN-D3^^. Anyway, I did update to Prome-4 just like you recommended, thank youMejilan said:Download 5.50 Prometheus Patch 4, backup your saves to PC, install patch. Voilà.
I would love that as right now I'm looking for the best gba advance emulator.timnich said:Is it possible for someone to make a list of the best emulators/homebrew to use with hen (6.2/6.36)? I'll post whatever I manage to find as well, maybe we can start a new thread specifically for hen?

Gameboy/GBC/Master System/GameGear Emulator
Pretty much MasterBoy updated to work with the newer PSP hacks. Runs many games full speed, and has the convenience of having 4 emulators in one handy eboot. Has many settings to fiddle around with.

Both are - for 3k models and onwards you need 5.03 if you want to run CFW that already has PS1 loader enabled.Leshita said:so does that mean he is fine but I am SOL? :lol
Mejilan said:Don't think there is any way to get them to work. Yet.
The old NPDecryptor method doesn't work with the new PSN DRM.
However, since the PSP private keys have leaked, we may see some new developments within the next few weeks/months.
Worst case scenario, some games do get patched on a one-by-one basis, but even then, only so games.

Though to be fair it probably won't matter for long - if we can really sign-eboots, people could eventually run custom-made PS1 eboots on OFW.
