Finally bought a new PSP, but then pushed the demon onto someone else. Jesus.

That's the only one that worked for me.

Pimpwerx said:Oh snap! Haven't tried any games yet. I can't believe the Sony loader could be broken by this upgrade. Hmm...am I gonna have to downgrade back to 3.71? Is the M33 loader any good? I've been using NP9660 since it's compatible with everything and really fast. Hope this gets ironed out soon. I wonder if this is something Sony did when they changed the firmware around. PEACE.
homez99 said:I was trying to play Final Fantasy VII earlier via POPS, but I got to the first fight and the game glitched, with the screen going all messed up with colours and such, and it froze in this state. This is my first experience with POPS, and this was my first multi-disk eboot. I used a compression ratio of 9 on it, could that have been the problem?
DKnight said:It's normal. They broke it with the new FW version, you have to wait for a new popsloader* plugin.

Kuran said:Hm, I noticed a lot of slowdown that wasn't there in the previous CFW whilst playing Outrun 2006.. I hope DA can find patch this somehow.
Anytime i try to install the 3.80 update my psp bricks. It goes up 99% and then I get a error message.Mejilan said:Yeah, I'm pretty annoyed by all this, and would like to downgrade back to 3.71 M33-4, but wouldn't you know it, my Pandora battery is kinda borked and none of the various installers I've checked out work with 3.80 M33, so I can't restore it.![]()

Sony 1GB - "only one comment: I used this card as a Magic Memory Stick to write 3.71 M33-2 with DCv3 to my PSP slim. After that, I tried one ISO game, Silent Hill Origins. It was choppy. Then I installed 3.80 M33, then 3.80 M33-2. I reformatted my card with windows, as FAT32. Then with PSP, and 3.80 M33-2 formatted to FAT instead of FAT32. Now it's not choppy. Works fine."

It's a list compiled from people posting on maxconsole's forums stating that they were having slowdown or problems. It can be taken with a grain of salt but is worth noting before updating if you still are cautious.TaKeRx said:Yeah... I don't know about that list. My Sony 8gb works flawlessly.

gta vcs = iso works fine as far as tested
gta vcs = cso (compression3) is choppy as hell (works fine on 3.52/ 3.71)

Arise my son, you are reborn!Mejilan said:Excellent! I think I've discovered a way to get my Slim back to 3.71 M33.
I found a basic Pandora installer (Hellcat's) that's been ported to 3.80 and successfully reconverted my borked Pandora into a vanilla one. It's now in the process of downgrading my Fat to 1.50. 78%!
From there I'll upgrade it to 3.71 M33-4 and use UPMS Installer Emerald to reconvert my now-working vanilla Pandora into a trusty multi-purpose Pandora that should be able to flash 3.71 M33 over my Slim's 3.80 M33-2!
Woo! (I hope!)
Edit 1 - Holy shit. 1.50! What horrible memories. *bizzarf*
I'm new to this so I didn't know that I needed to install 3.52 M33-3 first. After installing 3.52-3, can go straight to 3.71 M33?Mejilan said:You MUST be at 3.52 M33-3 or 3.52 M33-4 to install any M33 CFWs 3.71 or higher.

there is so much to consider when people talk about what stick works... is it a real stick, how was it formatted, what was it formatted with, etc...BMAN said:I can confirm that both the 4 GB Sony and the 8 GB Sony Memory Sticks work perfectly with 3.80 M33-2.
